Your examples are all places you spend a very limited amount of time in as a spectator, 2-3 hours tops. Some people stay 30 hours straight in a poker room with the average time being 4-6 hours. Different experience

It would be nice if they turned the water filling station back on. If we can no longer bring in drinks it would be nice to at least be able to fill empty cups and empty water bottles, especially the times when the cocktail waitresses are nowhere to be found.

Re: beverages . . . is this a poker room thing or a casino thing? Because I've never had an issue bringing a drink into the casino. Not sure how they would even enforce this. I walk in with coffee all the time - they sell at Starbucks and the pastry place outside the casino . . . I walk in with beer all the time -- to go beers from Tap . . . bottles from the mini bar in the room . . . I've walked in with sports drinks that I've bought from the shop across from Fish. MGM is FAR more hospitable in this regard that MDL!, Charles Town, Del Park . . . Not sure what the problem is that's caused like 3 pages of complaints.

the 24/7 news cycle wheel-of-biotches. Table Jumpers, then smoke smell, then promotion dollar budget, then wait-staff, and now water bottles. Don't worry next week it will be something else.

Sometimes the cycle lands on something super legit like table-jumpers and a great conversation is kicked off and very positive changes are implemented.

And sometimes the conversation is water bottles.

It says something about this forum when a guy named dropnloads is the voice of reason

Just once again confirming that many poker regulars are amongst the most miserable people on earth.

No. It should be on hendon mob in a few weeks. I know they did an icm chop (with an adjustment) when it got down to 10. And I know the bubble boy pretty well.

3) leave the poker room entirely to try and find water somewhere in the casino.

I didn't think there was anything that could drive me away from your poker room, but this will do it. If I don't have easy access to water, I'll go elsewhere. This is ridiculous. Why are you intentionally making it difficult to drink water in your poker room? How is this an issue?
Or, (4) go to Snacks and ask for an iced water from their fountain. I've had no problems getting iced water there for several weeks at no cost. They often have them pre-prepared, so no wait either.

But don't ask the servers to bring you one with your food order. They will not, for unknown reasons (probably out of solidarity with the cocktail waitresses who are shorted a tip as a result).

If you buy the drinks on there property you are allowed to bring them in. If you bring a water bottle - like a hydro flask - you are not allowed to bring it in. I was bringing mine in for about 3 months before they said I could no longer bring it in.

I don't like the small water bottles - it's wasteful and only has 10oz of water. my hydro flask was a 40oz water that I would reuse every day. I can still bring it in empty and fill it at the water filling station, but that has been out of order for a while. Not sure if it's fixed yet. I guess they assume people are sneaking in alcohol?

Just because the water bottle discussion doesn't matter to YOU doesn't delegitimize the complaint. This matters far more to me than the table jumpers ever did.
