The good
1. The room is nice, far better than Maryland live, although Horseshoe still wins the best room by far.
2. Casino is very nice, as is the diversrity of the crowd. It felt like a better class of people overall
3. The players are some of the worst I have ever seen (unfortunately I was card dead for 10 hours)
4. Great seeing Alpa and other staff from the horseshoe, you stole some good talent
5. Lots of tables still running at 5am in the morning
The bad
1. The garage is atrocious, I literally followed the exit sign which looped me right back to where I was.
2. You have a LOT of dealers who need more training. 3 misdeals by one, another who was about to ship the chips to another player when we were both all in before the river was dealt. Dealers almost sending chips to the wrong players.
3. Apparently a lot of shufflers weren't working including the one on my table so we were hand shuffled for 8 hours
4. Waitresses were absent for hours at a time
5. The checkin area is a mess, how you guys have a tiny podium with a laptop is beyond me, it was almost like the whole room was an after thought
6. 5 different times we had two seats open for over a half an hour when over 100 people on the waiting list I finally started just grabbing the seat markers and taking them up myself
7. As you already know the cash out takes a long time
8. Multiple people commented on how there was a football game going on however every single TV had wrestling on
9. Drink holders on the table are really bad, I couldn't see someone had $400 in black chips hiding behind it when i raised him to what I thought was all in for another $76. So yes your drink holders cost me money last night.
I hope tournaments will not be in the same room because right now you don't have the space for it.
I know much of this is growing pains but it has a long way to go
1. We are actively working on traffic in the garage. The patterns are different depending on the events for the day (Concert, convention, etc).
2. We are aware of the dealing issues. We have 151 dealers, and about 30-35 are very green. They will be coached and improve over time.
3. We are also aware of the shufflers. Last night, we had a total of 8 that failed. replacements are coming, and we are working with our vendor to address.
4. I have been working with F&B this weekend to find ideas to improve service times for both food service and beverage service. We have technology issues that are being addressed as we speak, and we are introducing a coffee and water cart to lessen service times on those items in particular.
5. We knew this going in. I have already ordered a workstation that is 2 1/2 times the size of the one there now, and will adding 2 permanent PCs along with Mlife card printers and multiple phones.
6. This one baffles me. We need to better at this....
7. Changes are coming to the cage. That's the most difficult to address right now, as most cashiers there are very new. We have chip carts on the floor that should address the wait times when the lines grow.
8. We have 41 TVs and they can be changed upon request. Simple fix.
9. Sounds like an angle shooter cost you $76... The dealer should have asked the offender to put the chips un a visible place. As mentioned earlier ITT, we are improving daily on this one...
