Wanted to follow up on Short Deck cash games coming. Any guess what blinds and buy-ins you are planning for these? Any chance you will spread something equivalent to the current 1/3?

Also, will the game be hand dealt? Do the auto shufflers work for short deck?

well the regs allow for an ante +single blind to the left of the dealer so that is an option as well
question

J. From lowest to highest, the rank of the cards used in Six Plus Hold ‘Em Poker is:
ace, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, jack, queen and king.
L. When comparing two hands that are of identical rank under §K of this chapter, or
which do not contain the hands authorized for that game, the hand that contains the
highest ranking card as provided under §J of this chapter, which is not in the other
hand shall be considered the higher ranking hand.
so I hold AsQh and board is QsJdJc7d8c and my opponent had KcQc who would win?

To be fair in every section in between it lists the hands with A being the highest pair, and obviously it seems that section J was to indicate that the A is again a wheel card (able to count for Broadway straights and A-9 straights)

Also any luck on getting Archie approved?

Shuffler programming does not allow for short Deck. I have requested it from the vendor and look to get it around the first of the year. We will likely try it as a 1/3 game, and may even spread as a Limit game too.

Aq would win. No luck on Archie. Ace is played same as Holdem, with normal broadway and A,6,7,8,9 playing as a straight.

Have December promos been posted somewhere? Looking to see if Dec 1 is the same promo as the November Saturdays.

I agree with your concern. Posting promotion details on Bravo and Twitter at this time is important for advertising for tomorrow.

Be warned that there looks like there will be a long line today. Ive been here an hour and im still a ways from a seat. Theres a freeroll tourney and a team tourney taking up a lot of seats, although I suppose as the tourney seats break, cash seats will open up

I like the enhanced multiplier on Tue and Thu.

Gives you a chance to win from $100 to $500.

I was pretty far from snacks and didnt ever walk past it on Friday or Saturday which may have affected things, but I did not smell any smoke these past two sessions. Also several correct floor calls on some weird situations, and I had one total seat change into my table and the person was authorized by floor.

There was no wait at all for the 1/3. Glad I didn't pay attention to this and go to Live instead.

Federal employee's are off on Wednesday for the national day of mourning for former president George H.W Bush. Not sure if you see an increase during times like this. You may see me there .

Seems like a terrible day to go, everyone is gonna be wearing all black and quietly crying by federal mandate.

Thanks MGM for Hosting Private DMV Team Tournament last Saturday Dec 2nd!

As usual well run and professional. Can't speak for everyone, but my team had a blast & everyone was thoroughly impressed by MGM and the Poker room.
