the rule is bound to be arbitrarily enforced (no hoodie, but knit hat pulled low? Scarf up high? Going to tell a high-limit player to pull it down (not like you have many, if any, that have their hood up but that's besides the point).

Also as previously stated 10 straddle would be too big for 1-2
Anything that obscures or covers the face will be removed. The staff will be very proactive on this.

It is unlikely that MDL will ever get this game off the ground because at least 50% of the player base is MDL employees (who are good action and good for the dealer's tips). There is 100% a market for this game as the game has now gone underground. A few of us would like to bring it back to a casino.
Amateurs. 8/16 with $2 chips. Gambool gambool. So many mistakes made in that game. Way better than 5/10 w $5 chips.

See oceans 11 or Canterbury Vs Borgata.

So I started the pink chip discussion not realizing anything other than 15 years ago it played a lot looser than the 6/12 everyone else was spreading.

8/16 sounds fine to me. It's been a long time since I played regularly but would love to have a higher low stakes limit game to jump in. 2/4, 3/6 just don't do it gor me...

4/8 is even a bit better than I was expecting.

Huge issue: Cashier window. 1 cashier serving BOTH players AND chip runners. Waited 50 minutes to cash out chips tonight. 1 cashier for the poker windows, with 3-4 "cashier supervisors" just standing around. AWFUL service. Get this fixed or next time will be last trip. Absolutely absurd and angering.

The most frustrating part is the chip runners every time cut the line. So just when you think the line will be get shorter...nope. Another chip runner comes in.

Very sorry. Trying to fix this issue. What time did this happen? I need to know for staffing purposes.

If you plan to come back "next time" why cash out? I always exchange for bigger chips when I leave and avoid the windows all together since I know I'll be back next time.

Johnny, could you please make sure all the dealers are aware of the no flop no drop and that 2/5 has the jackpot dollars taken out at different amounts than 1/3? I see this happening way too often

Johnny: Are the dealers allowed to exchange our smaller chips for larger ones when we are leaving the table? I tried to do this earlier in the week and the dealer said that they weren't allowed to do it, if we were leaving. The next night, a different dealer made the exchange for a player leaving. It would be good to get some clarification and consistency.

In the end, it wasn't a big deal as there were enough players at the table who were willing to help me out.

Johnny,

I think it started around 10:50 pm - I waited only 5-10 mins, but noticed 2-3 supervisors just standing around and no cashier on poker side. 1 "special" cashier was servicing a floor (chip runner?). After I cashed out I saw that the line was a bit longer. Might have been the trigger for the "traffic jam"

Thanks for listening & continuing to improve service.

I was there both last Friday, 12/9 and this past Wednesday, 12/14. Both times I was there there was the same issue with only having one cashier when I tried to cash out.

Friday was a lot slower and I probably had to wait 25 minutes to cash out. Wednesday took about 15.

Cashiers seem to do a good job. That was one concern I had, but all of them have been fast, accurate and friendly.

Hi Johnny! I visited the room this week and liked it a lot. I think you have an excellent base to build on, and you are demonstrating excellent customer service by taking in all feedback and making improvements where needed. I'm sure you already wish you had a larger room to work with. Maybe after a year the return from the poker room will far outweigh that of the slot machines next to the bathrooms and they will let you expand.

I have question. What is the reasoning behind not letting the dealers verbalize the amounts of bets or raises unless specifically asked? I can understand wanting players to constantly pay attention to the action at the table when they are in hands. But most players do not verbalize their own bets, they usually just slide or drop the chips out. The exact number of chips is not always clear to everyone at the table. So why wouldn't you want dealers to announce the bet amount for everyone to hear? It just seems like that would help the game flow. Just curious as what the logic and driver was for this decision.

Appreciate all that you and your staff are doing!

In the evenings we have tourneys scheduled Sunday-Thur at 7:00PM. Sun-Mon is a $120 NL (Same as 11AM event) Tues-Thur is a $150 Bounty event, Wednesday is an $80 PLO Rebuy Event.

Field sizes will be limited by available space (which has been incredibly limited so far)
Johnny:
When you determine starting stack sizes, local players seem to like 'more chips'. Some of the dailies at other 'local' venues start with 8K or 10K; too short! Don't want to get knocked out in the second level after driving an hour in traffic to get to your beautiful casino! Please consider. Thanks!

Why have rebuy/add-on tournaments seemed to have fallen out of fashion? The kind where most people budget for 5 buy-ins. Any chance we might see one in the rotation?

I wonder how many of you are willing to pay the $ 25 parking fee when the opening period ends whenever that might be? I certainly will not be playing at MGM if I have to pay $ 25 to park. Is the $ 25 fee applies to everyone or just non casino players?

AFAIK, none of the casinos around here have their dealers verbalize bet amounts unless asked. I think it is because they don't want to help players too much.

Please have it that playing X amount of hours of poker in a day will wave the fee, and/or Pearl+ gets free parking with a way to obtain it from poker. The MGM properties didn't give higher status for poker but changed that when they started charging for parking so it is definitely something the company has done before

Johnny, what's the deal with $25 parking? I live in northern Delaware and certainly have my fair share of options. It wouldn't keep me away but it certainly would swing my decisions a little more seeing as $25 seems a bit unreasonable. Is the $25 parking fee really going to take place?

This whole "having to interact with a floorperson in order to get a comp" thing is for the birds. Hate it. We shouldn't have to wait at all to use the money that we earned by patronizing their business.
