Depends on your definition of near. No machine is within 15 feet of the poker room.

The new room entrance will be very close to the guest elevators from the parking garage.

Folks,

We are playing on temporary setup tables. No Bravo to sign in and out. So, don’t forget to approach a floor to get your hours credited before you leave the room.

JG for this one week is it too much to ask the front podium to log us in when we sign up, also make sure you would only get credit when you approach the floor before leaving.

Just heard that the poker room is giving $15 in food comp/day for playing on temporary tables during transition. So, logging in at the podium might be a moot point.

So they're far enough along to be starting to move tables but unless I've missed it, still no official info about the new room?

I have no idea why they are being so tight lipped about it. Seems pretty trivial.

JG was giving a range June 29th - Jul 4th.

You are looking at a max of week to 10 days.

No official date yet, but the range mentioned is pretty accurate.

Will this affect the random table/seat drawings?

Bridgeboy,

The short answer is no. I think for most of this month the promos are hot tables.

The temp tables are in the same location and carry the same table numbers.

I would guess that they might be moving safety deposit boxes & the cage at about the same time, and would want to keep details publicly fuzzy on the exact timing of such a thing. Also, Johnny might be trying to avoid committing to a firm start date on the new room which, if they end up being a day or three late, opens him up to criticism from the 2+2 peanut gallery.

How do we go about getting a deposit box in the new room if we've never had one previously?

Can the door for the safety deposit box room upstairs please have the type of lock which, when the door is opened from the inside, automatically disengages? These kind of locks are commonly found in one-person public restrooms. This would alleviate the need to bug a floorperson to come unlock the door, which routinely gets left locked by the outgoing person.
