I'm up for HORSE and LHE from 4/8 to 10/20.

Am I correct in seeing that badugi is available? And if so, what about 2-7TD?

I prefer not to to business that way. I don't wanna take a list from another property.

We will spread badugi, badeucey, badacey, A-5 and 2-7. Actually had a couple of those in a mix this past weekend.

The rule is that chips should be arranged in manner that other players should be able to get a reasonable estimate of what you have in play. Deliberately stacking chips in a manner that deceives other players is just shady. Most buy ins for 1/3 in our room have at least $100 in green chips. If it serves the best interests of the game and doesn't slow the game down tremendously, I have no problem in asking our dealers to police this.

Question - has anyone spent the night at one the National Harbor Hotels (Westin, Hampton Inn, etc.)? If so, is there shuttle service to and from the casino and, if so, how was the experience? Thanks in advance.

I think that's a fairly disingenuous comment. The 60/120 game going in your room is because of that list, and I know you know that.

In any case, I'm not sure what misconceptions you may be under about our LHE list and what property it is/isn't associated with, so I'll clear it up. We have a list that was created and maintained by area LHE players to get regular games established and running in Maryland. I know this because I was the person who created and ran it for 3 years or whatever.

It seems likely that the Thursday 20/40 and Saturday 30/60 game with stay at md live, and the bigger LHE action will be at MGM on Tue/Fri/sun. This isn't a knock on live, it's just because most of the players who drive the bigger games live closer to mgm and want to play there.

There is no established 10/20 game in the area, so I was offering to get you in touch with a bunch of players who would likely play. If you're not interested, that's fine. Good luck.

I'd prefer 15/30 for (1) time rake and (2) as a differentiator from MDL's 10/20 / 20/40 structure, but I'd probably play anyway if it ends up being 10/20.

I appreciate your perspective and I also think that your position is both appropriate and honorable, but I think foobar himself controls that list for the benefit of the community as opposed to MDL controlling the list for its own benefit. Hopefully he'll correct me if I'm wrong.

Don't be such a tool foobar. As forthcoming as Johnny has been itt, I think you owe him an apology for the tone of your post.

Ok, @johnny, sorry if my post sounded toolish. The LHE list is maintained by players and not affiliated with any particular room.

Depending on when you're trying to get the 10/20 hold'em going I may be interested. Just started a new job so I'm still getting settled into a reg schedule.

I am interested. The wording of your post made it seem as if another property was organizing the game. I haven't solicited players, and won't. If you have a group of players that would like to come and play at our property, we will be happy to have you. I am interested in a .10-.20 if I can drop rake and make a profit.....

FWIW, I just read all the posts following the one I quoted. No apology necessary. I just want the business.

FWIW, I have had multiple responses for a 10/20 O8 half kill game. Lets shoot for a noon start time on Friday and see what happens... anyone interested please PM me and we can set it up!

I'd be interested in either 10/20 LHE or 10/20 O8. Definitely couldn't be there any earlier than maybe 4:00 pm on Friday.

I think someone mentioned this before, but the small amount of chips in the dealers' racks is annoying and it slows the games down. My table was averaging 3 to 4 chip fills per hour.

Otherwise, the room is very nice and I don't really have any other complaints. Even the dealers with little experience seem to have been trained pretty well.

OMFG YES! I've been asking MDL about this for a year.

I can't wait to get back to DC now.

Honestly, HORSE with 2-7TD at the end is all I want 😂.

I have to work and travel a lot, but anytime I see it going or know about it I'll make an effort to play.

I know 3-4 rec players, and I mean rec, that would be interested in some mix games. Idk how people feel about playing 4-8 mix lol. But it's a great way to help establish a new player base for mix games.

I know a bunch of people who would be interested in a mix game anywhere from 5/10 to 15/30. Hopefully we can get this off the ground in the next few weeks. Keep in mind that there are a substantial number of MDL employees who enjoy limit poker who have been very poorly served by HSB. If you start spreading low/mid mix, this area can definitely support it.

I think December also might be a tough time to establish these games with the holidays, but I would be down to play most days of the week.

I'd probably one of those people who would want to test the waters of a mixed game in a 4-8 setting
