Again,
You certainly have better information than I do. No plan has been released about charging for parking yet.

Can I assume earned credits are added to the card in the same chronological order they were accumulated? For example, I earned $50 in January, $50 in February and $50 in March. Then in April I decide I want $50 on my card. Does that mean I don't have to worry about credits expiring until next February?

Yes, you can assume that.

Seriously though, that's the only thing that would make sense. FILO would be a completely messed up way of doing things for comps.

The November tournament schedule is not posted on the MGMNH website. Is the schedule the same as October until the Potomac Poker Open?

Yes. Tournaments are the same, small adjustments to the promos:
All lucky table/hot seat/high hands are hourly instead of every 2 hours. We will give away 10 main event seats in the lucky table/hot seat drawings November 10-23.

Error correction to the post above. Hot seat promo is still every 2 hours.

Is this true?

Today is Tuesday, the hot seat promo ran at 15 on the hour starting at 10:15 AM and it ran every hour.

Just wanted to take a sec to appreciate all of the dealers. It's been weeks since I've had a negative experience with a dealer and I have grown quite fond of most of them. I think MGM has one of the best dealing staffs around, especially with how shaky things started off a year ago.

I'm sure I missed it but the PPO schedule doesnt really list specifics for day 2s of the multi day events. Is it just assumed it is the day after the final flight of day 1? But no times or anything are listed.

IE - there is no day 2 listed for Event 1. Event 2 is scheduled for 11a that Sunday but no mention/schedule of a day 2 for Event 1.

JG can you clear things up or is their maybe an updated schedule?

Bumping this comment because I'd like to clarify how the table change requests are supposed to work. Yesterday (Friday afternoon) I was playing 2-5 on table 11, and asked the front podium whether I could change to table 6. They said not yet, which made some sense, since there was one open seat at each table (so changing would leave it unbalanced, though it was during a time when lots of people were getting off work and filling the games).

I gave the podium my name and they said I'd get called for a change. However not long after that, a new player was seated at the open seat on table 6. I think I should have been called for that seat. I played another 4 hours, and was never called for a change, even though I'm pretty sure there were plenty of opportunities during that time. I guess I just fell though the cracks? No big deal, just wondering how table changes should be handled.

I can’t provide a link, but go to our property website and go to poker. You can find structures for all events, and that information is listed on the structure

Most likely explanation is that you fell through the cracks. Only other explanation is that they called you for the transfer and you didnt answer, or they thought you declined. Based on what you posted, you should have been moved.

Johnny, can you do something about Hendon Mob reporting? The results of the 50k have not been reported since late September.

Thanks much

To be fair, its not exactly easy or intuitive to find - its not like it says "Daily Schedule". Appreciate being pointed in the right direction but I cant be the only one looking for it. To find Day 2 information it looks like you have to click on Day 1 information, scroll past the 39 listed levels of play and then read down through to rule #7?

You also have a link to the main schedule on your page and there's nothing on there either.

It's because of where the overhead cameras are located

We will have a solution for that problem at some point. We have plans in the works to address that, as well as other issues in the room. Stay tuned!

The 32/33 crowding issue has been an issue since the room opened. My guess is the new room opens before a solution is found...unless that *is* JG's "solution"

I'm a *very* infrequent visitor; just wanted to note for the record how much everything has improved from my first visit (somewhere in January, maybe?) to my most recent, last Friday: the brush was quick and competent, every dealer I experienced ran a crisp, efficient game (and a couple managed to nip a low-rent angle shooter in the bud) and... the coffee makes a big difference to an unrepentant addict such as myself.

We here in DC/Md. are at risk of being spoiled with both Johnny at MGM, *and* Mike at MDL. Both are ++EV poker room managers IMO.

I’m sure Mike likely won’t post ITT, but would echo my sentiments of sincere thanks. He and I are competitors, but we make each other’s product better...
