Yes. Starting flights combine on day 2 and play down to a determined point, then return to play it out on Day 3

It would be helpful if this information were included in the above tournament information, along with starting times for days 2 & 3. Structure sheets indicating the blinds for each level, and which levels have 45, 60, and 75 minute levels.

This was a release to get basic info out. Complete info, including structure sheets, leaderboard rules, etc. will be posted on our website soon.

Just out of morbid curiosity, is 20-25% pretty standard juice on tournaments nowadays?

In most markets, yes (depending on buy in). You'll never see a $1000+$250, but the lower the buy in goes, the higher the % of juice.

Borgata's are lower - $540 plus $60, $400 plus $50, $300 plus $40, $1000 plus $90, etc.

Borgata also withholds 3% of the prize pool. We don't. Fees are included with the juice.

Technically, our juice is .5% higher.

What number would be the most effective number to call and complain about this advertisement? Like is there an actual human being with the authority to lower the volume who is available by phone?

That's an awesome schedule. Really bummed that November/December are gonna be my really busy months, but still pumped to play a couple of the tournaments, especially 6 max bounty and PLO.

Yeah, I was talking to one of the dealers about how much it might cost to put it in the poker room, since we were just curious, and we estimated between 500K an 1M. Just not realistic with how many people will be in the casino.

Seems like a solid series, and since ppl raved about the Million Dollar Heater series JG ran at the Beau I can assume the blind structures will be solid. Love the 1k PLO as well as the juice discount on the Turbo (it takes less time and resources for the room so like that part of that is coming back to the players, even if I prob won't play the turbo)

minor nitpicks, IMO the six-max should be bounty free as I feel that most people down to play a short handed tourney are playing for the figure up top and would like a larger figure up top.
Also still time to change event 8 into a 500 dealer's choice event, it's currently a O/8 event (ICWUDT...event 8:O/8) and I didn't know MGM even spread a regular o/8 game (non-mix).

Wayy under, it's 30 bucks a person times the fire code occupancy for the room, so for instance Felt based on the 116 occupancy linky would cost $3480 the theater is prob only ~90kish so even the entire casino showing it would be under $250,000 IMO, depends on the fire code for the entire casino which seems hard to find...obviously not worth it for MGM as it is Saturday night and the casino will be packed anyway without the additional overhead of paying six-figures to show the fight for the entire casino...their high LTV customers (e.g. Noir card members) already will have an opportunity to watch the fight and gamble so it doesn't seem to make $$$ sense to pay the extra fixed cost to show it to mass market gamblers

Who is interested in having a 2p2 Meetup? Perhaps around the same time the tournament series begins?

Rapini, can you organize/coordinate?

Johnny

Mentioned this before but never got a response.... Is there a way for the floor to hold a table on Sundays for 5/T?

Currently a 4/8 limit game running on table 39 with 10+ on the list for 5/T. Seems like this happens every Sunday with the increased traffic due to the combination of the promo and tournament.

Thanks

We won't hold a table, but will starve a 1/3 through attrition. The wait shouldn't be too long. If you guys can give us a specific time on when you will want the table and we will have it ready. Please be responsible and dont request the table until you will show up.

What does starving 1/3 through attrition mean? Just not adding players to the table and making it similar to a must move?

If we have 20 1/3 tables in the room, we pick a table and do not fill seats as players bust. We also freeze the list. We wait until we have enough seats at other tables for all players at the table we chose, and send those players to the empty seats. This frees up a table for a high limit game and keeps players who were already seated in action.

Essentially it's the same process we use when breaking a tournament table.

The freeroll for the August leaderboard is also on the 9th of September at 10am. Is the room really running two tournaments that begin at the exact same time?

Yes. We will keep reg. open for the satellite a bit longer to allow anyone who busts from the freeroll to enter.
