I'm gonna trust in Johnny until he lets us down. So far so good.

Speaking of which - any news on getting comps directly on the card? I tried getting money on my card and the friendly but apparently technically challenged floor must have done something wrong. Luckily the deli wasn't busy and called over to the poker room to someone who accomplished the feat but it'd be nice to be able to skip that step.

Still a work in progress. I will be in Vegas The next several days for the TDA Summitt. I will be meeting with my counterparts from Bellagio and Aria, and I am sure this topic will come up...

Yeah, I've had that happen twice. Once after dining in at Ginger, so I had to give them a credit card to hold so I could make the walk back and get it sorted. The other time at ShakeShack, I had to make the walk back twice as the poker room made 2 separate consecutive errors... the floor supervisor comped me after that unplanned exercise.

As far as the tournament schedule... ANY PLO events should really be 6-max.. Make it 7-max if you must but don't go beyond that please.

Can you elaborate on why you think that?

IMO its no worse than the groups of friends - incl a handful of MDL dealers - that seem to end up at the same 2/5 tables together. Personally I've never seen anything worth talking about other than the usual softish play. But IMO there's nothing to do or nothing you really can do other than be aware and if it really ends up bothering you get a table change.
I played with the husband and wife team again at PLO recently and found them to be very nice and down to Earth. No collusion going on.

Heading down to MGM National Harbor for the first time this weekend.

First off, I want to commend Johnny for the job he does in this thread. Keep it up man - the room is lucky to have you and there's a lot of good info/communication flowing around the thread.

Can any regulars comment on the difference between the 2/5 & 5/10 on the weekends? Is the 5/10 significantly tougher?

Thanks!

Thanks! And yes, 5/10 is significantly tougher than 2/5. It might be the toughest lineup in the room...

Floor on the microphone claiming you must be swiped in to win lucky table. I've been told by floor before that that isn't true. Causes distress, especially when it's announced as the wheel is spinning.

It is true. The program will not select a player who is logged in as a guest.

Lucky table, not hot seat.

what did the floor tell you? i've won a couple of these and it was communicated that we had to be swiped into the table and played the last hand to qualify. i had a lady walk away a couple weeks ago and she didn't qualify. she walked away 3 min before the drawing and hadn't played the last hand.

Hot seat - You can't win the hot seat if you're not swiped in, but you still get the table share if you were dealt in.

Lucky table - have to be dealt in to win. Need to make or produce a card to collect if not swiped in.

During lucky table draw, while draw was happening, floor said must be swiped in to win, which upset players at my table.

That's what I've been told anyway, don't know if there are printed rules that clarify. Bravo has some rules.

Food light on yesterday absurdly long with no service, but can't really trust my stomach when telling time.

So, today, I noted the time. Food light on at 12:30, I racked up now at 3:20, food light still on with no visit from food runner.

If that ever happens and you don't get someone over within 5-10 min, please get the attention of a supervisor or mention to the dealer. We should be better at this.

I did that last Sunday.

The supervisor's response was that it had to be queued via the Bravo system and that set the wait times.

From what I heard there were only two food runners for a while yesterday.

Strange issue at 5/T last night. We would have open seats but instead of the front podium sending people back they would add them to the list. The back podium would page these people as soon as they could but then they wouldn't show up, even if it was only a few minutes later
