Just had an all in and the "full call" rule did not slow things down at all. As matter of fact it saves time after the showdown of having to get the pots right and distributed.

Exhausted after a 16 hour day today. I hope you all enjoyed the room. We had some bumps and bruises, but I was overall pleased with opening. Apologies for delays on Safety deposit boxes. We will do better tomorrow.

The Bravo Poker Live link above doesn't work for me—some kind of account issue. But I can see room details from the Bravo app on my smartphone.

I had been planning to come visit Thursday evening, but the traffic reports scared me off. Maybe I'll try Friday mid-day.

I'm hoping there will be some Omaha8 tables. Bravo shows a waitlist for 4-8 limit Omaha Hi/Lo, but no current tables going.

Btw, I've seen the address listed as 101 National Ave (Oxen Hill, MD) but if you're planning to use a GPS I saw a news report suggesting that it would work better to use 101 Harborview Ave.

I get the excitement and all but to say the rule doesn't slow the game down is ridiculous. Every "all-in" isn't going to go to showdown which will absolutely slow the game down. When it does go to showdown it won't "save time"' as the same count will be made either way. So to review......when showdown, same. When no showdown, it slows the game.

Congratulations on the G.O. exciting and proud times I'm sure. Thank you for your efforts in this thread during 2016 in being so active and engaged with the poker community. Imagine if every room manager was as engaged with their client base as you are? Wow that would energize the entire industry!!! Great job in being a tremendous ambassador to the game and best of luck getting some rest here and there!!

Please give an example of an all-in being called but doesn't go to showdown, because I just don't get it.

Just came from mlife desk, they matched my borgata black card to mlife gold. I asked the lady if they're matching anything else and she told me no. But I heard on the floor you can contact a host to see what they can do.

Johnny - I plan to visit on Sunday afternoon. Will I be able to meet you then & shake your hand? Parking & driving in/out shouldn't be too much of an issue by then. Excellent marketing and hype - am sure it will live up to it

In instances where there was not a showdown, there was no call to the all-in bet so....

Very cold in the room due to there being doors directly opening up to outside at the back of the room. Even with the doors closed and blocked off from opening, there is a noticeable draft in the room. They should really try to plug the draft coming from the bottom of the doors as it's pretty uncomfortable right now.

Tried to play a 25/50 last night but no tables, so played 1/3 for a hour and then left. Are the big games going to go before I head back west?

I don't think you're talking about what you think you're talking about.

The rule being discussed here is that if someone goes all-in, and someone else calls by throwing in a single chip, then the pot will be made correct BEFORE more cards are dealt, meaning the caller will have to push forward the required chips.

This is not related to counting the all-in stack which may or may not happen depending on the players facing the action of the all-in player.

JG first and foremost Congratulations!

Now that the room is open and operational the Bravo needs to be updated.

It still shows the old information from the soft opening.

Ok it's not just me. Maybe I explained incorrectly
Was part of and witnessed numerous all ins. People tanked, asked the dealer what the count was, etc. Once they made a decision and said call, all of the main pots and side pots were established and then the dealer ran out the cards or the players flipped. The dealer then slid the respective pot(s) to the winning players.

The time spent establishing the pots BEFORE running the cards or players flipping is the same time that would have been spent asking the players for chip stacks to build the pots correctly and distribute after a 1 chip call

Therefore no real time difference from what I noticed. In fact once the hand was over, it was easier and faster to move on to the next hand.

"Running it twice is permitted in raked games." does this mean you can run it twice ever at 1/2? explaining to those people what that option is is going to be torture.

any idea who has to show first at showdown? closest to the button or last aggressor?

$2 per pot going to the bad beat jackpot is BRUTAL. is MDL that way too? that would be enough to make me play elsewhere, given the option.

I think it is supposed to read "Running it twice is permitted in time-raked games."

Angus is correct; thanks for the heads up. I fixed the typo.

As for the $2 BBJ drop, best of luck trying to find somewhere cheaper.

Without spending more than a half second in thought I can list Borgata, Foxwoods, and Mohegan Sun.

It is what the market ultimately decides as all of FL I believe is $2 and Live! set the $2 bar early on as this mid-Atlantic market developed.

Johnny, can you confirm mlife will match borgata black label?

That would also essentially mean anyone with a cesaers diamond could match also because borgata matches diamond with black label. Then you could match black label to m life

Looking forward to visiting this room this weekend. What is with this crazy $5+2 nonsense? All I have ever seen is $4+1. Foxwoods, Borgata, Aria, Bellagio, all the first class casinos, $4 rake since I started playing poker.
