Regretting my decision to come here after reading the number of posts above. Unfortunately I got a non refundable room (got a great deal nonetheless) and it's in old town area of Alexandria so at least there should be stuff to do during the day. Always heard the games were really good here but didn't bother to check this thread before hand. Re: parking, which is the best/proper area to park free for poker?

They have free parking, anywhere in garage should be fine. Go to casino level and take escalator to poker room.

There’s an elevator to the poker room also, behind the escalator.

No not local to MGMNH. I do have a trip to the area coming in near future but I honestly plan on spending more/most of my time at the main competitor.

CB on the Final Table of the Main Event. I wish him good luck and hope he runs deep.

I think I can post this since I saw it on a Facebook poker dealer forum I help moderate and I do not currently work for the property: Adam the Poker Operations Manager said that the PPO will return in February. This is the first announced tournament series in the Northeast since COVID shut everything down as far as I know.

Earlier today (around noon?) a guy flopped a Royal for $50k.

Thanks for posting, this is great news -- hopefully they get a good turnout for this series.

Last several issues of Card Player have listed tournament schedule including daily tournaments at least 5 days a week at MGM NH...are these running? Also, are masks still required when playing?

Making a trip here in December for the first time. Bunch of comp rooms opened up, any room tips? Potomac or capital view? I’m platinum card, is there a vip lounge, or any goodies like that. Thanks!

LOL you asked a question *on Thanksgiving* - what did you expect in...three whole days?

You're also in a forum where 99% of folks are locals and wont ever have stayed there.

But as far as the rooms go, the Potomac view rooms have a view of the Potomac - Capitol view rooms have a view of the Capitol. Your choice on what you want more.

There's no VIP lounge. Platinum will score you free valet parking. I can't think of any other goodies for that level card.

People sometimes go ooooooo at the 1/3 tables when they see it though.

One reason you aren't getting any replies beyond those mentioned is that poker players aren't getting any tier points.

Seeing PWPO Mega Sats littered all over the Dec schedule, is the PWPO schedule up anywhere?

Has anyone asked for room charges to be comped after putting in decent pit action? It's only my second visit here and I don't have a host. And if they did comp, would they pull from my express comp balance first?

Apparently no regs stay here,
So you won’t get an answer. At least that’s what I was told in an earlier post when I asked a question.

Is there some rule of thumb about when you have to show up on a Saturday to play 2/5, 5/10 or one of the 2/5 or bigger PLO games within a reasonable time off the waitlist? I watched the Bravo app the past couple weeks and it seems that Saturday night the waitlist is 40+ ppl deep at these games (1/3 might even be longer). I have a free night saturday and worried that if i show up at 8pm I won't even get off the waitlist for a couple hours if lucky.

If you call in around 6 and get there by 7 your wait should be much shorter.

I have not asked. MGM gives a tiny amount of comps and tiers for table games and most games have $25-$100 minimum. Not sure what you mean about decent action but you can certainly ask. But if they pull comps from your balance then that's not anything special or extra.

you're not getting any comped rooms unless you are blasting $1,000+ a hand or are a slot player who puts in significant action. Although with covid, maybe a lot of the whales stopped coming so it's possible????

It should tell you when you try and sign up through the website if you get a comped room or not.
