I'm a member of a couple different credit unions. Here are the daily limits that are shown on my apps:
Northwest FCU: $10k
State Department FCU: $40k
Arlington Community FCU: $15k

Does MGM charge a fee or anything to cash out via check? Never even considered that as an option.

if i won $60k, i would assume mgm-nh would give a check and hopefully 2.
(i doubt the $240k bad beat jackpot winners a few months ago took cash?)
I saw the big piece winner walkout with nearly a $200K bbjp piece in cash. Carried it out in some Walmart bags.

There are no fees. It may take a while depending on how busy it is, etc.

Rumor has it construction by men’s room may lead to bigger men’s room. If so, hooray!

What happened to the plan a few years ago about switching men's and ladies rooms?

Jg said they finished the study back then

Looks like they put the men’s room in the ladies’ room for now and made the women use the single-user restroom. (Ugh for them, but good for us.) This change was long needed.

Saigon Street has terrible service. Long lines, not enough cashiers, don't always have what you want to order, lip service and lame excuses from management when you voice your complaints. After their food went 2:1 in comps I went there waaaay less often, but after my experience last night I'm never going back. 15 minutes in line only to find out they weren't serving smoothies, which was the only thing I wanted. Manager claimed there were no smoothie signs up so I shouldn't have been surprised. And, after buying something more expensive - did they make up the difference? no. - I see there's a smoothie sign up anyway. What garbage service.

I've had absolutely awful service now two meals in a row at MGM and - like you - just absolute BS attitude from the staff.

I was meeting a buddy at TAP and I got there early, maybe 4:50. There's a big sign out front that says THIS OUTLET CURRENTLY CLOSED. I said oh OK, I'm early no big deal. I went and stood against the wall, just screwing around on my phone. It gets a few minutes past 5 - not open. After 10 minutes or so, I realize...there are people going in but this door never opened, oh wait, there is a casino entrance. I had no idea, never paid one bit of attention to it.

So now I wait in line to get in to the casino and wait in line at the check in desk. I mention something to the manager, quietly, off to the side, I made zero deal out of it. I said hey, here's what happened, might be useful to have a sign that says "Enter through the casino" in addition to the giant CLOSED sign - something like that. He turns to me and snaps "Looks like you found your way in without a sign just fine" - and he walks away.

Maybe MGM had an issue hiring staff back, maybe they dont have enough staff - maybe all the good ones got better jobs. But GD their customer service has taken a nosedive.

Awesome to see they have switched the bathrooms and looks like they are expanding the old men’s room.

From what I understand, dealers are now being written up for trying to get floors to wipe seats off with the sanitary rags in order for new players to get a seat. I understand it can be hard to hear and all, but the times I have seen dealers try to get a floors attention only to have the floor look directly at the dealer and walk the other way, it happens multiple times a day.

I am thankful that mgm is trying to sanitize but this is an insanely bad look on all management. The dealers are only trying to get their players seated so they can deal to them, but are being reprimanded because they are having to yell to get attention from laxidasic floors.

I don't understand - they're getting written up for following policy?

What happened to the bigger NL games? Pre-COVID, the 25/50 was running every weekend and some weekdays; we even played 100/200 one night. I waited patiently to get vaccinated, but now there's nothing to play. I keep checking the Bravo, but it looks like the Parx casino in Philly is the closest one spreading anything big. Is everyone playing private games now?

I haven't been there since the pandemic started, so I can't say for sure, but I assume a lot of folks took a similar approach and just stayed away. And, since the player base is small enough as is, it just hasn't had enough folks to run.

As more people get vaccinated and the pandemic starts to come to a close (hopefully), we'll start to see similar volume of games as there was previously.

Most people came back as soon as mgm reopened. Stay away from the news and you will be OKAY.

I did that with my fantasy baseball draft, feeling pretty good about my team, got a great deal on Eloy Jimenez and Justin Verlander

Does anyone here play the 5/10 limit mix? I saw on Bravo is was running last night. What games are usually played? Do any other mix games go very often? Thank you.

Yeah, but it's actually a 5/T no limit 5/5 PLO4 mixed game, round by round. It doesn't go very often here, maybe once a month. I don't know why it appeared as limit.

A true limit mixed game (badeucy, bacacey, etc.) and even a 100/200 mixed game used to run frequently here pre-COVID, but they don't anymore.

At least the 5/5/15 PLO5 has been running with more frequency lately.

Ah ok thanks for the info. That mix sounds a tad above my bankroll.

There's a listing that MGM National Harbor is hiring a Director of Poker.
What happened to Johnny?

I knew he basically ghosted this thread but the Twitter part is bizarre, like you said he was really active on there. And he didn't just stop posting, he completely deleted his account altogether?

Not like it was an MGM account either, it was his personal account. I hope he's OK.
