Here is a possible solution for MGMNH, from Live at the Bike:

That's a similar setup to what Live has.

L2 closed so I didn't see if they currently had the plexiglass at each poker table.
Temp check to enter confirmed
Glass at table games
Slots are 1 on 1 off

Mandatory mask confirmed, HOWEVER those who didn't come with a mask had to reach into this sketchy container and get one. No plastic wrap for each mask. The dude I saw grab one touched like 4 or 5 because they were tangled up. Smh whoever approved this is a donk

Also could not park on a few floors. They made us go to p5 and take the high roller elevator entrence up. I planned to walk up the stairs but it was unavailable. Im assuming they change that when it officially opens but who knows. Not impressed

Chris Gumiela, VP of marketing from mgm national harbor on the junkies via phone now.

Not much poker talk.

Did say games will be 7 handed.

Other than that it seemed very scripted and it seemed like they have no real plan for poker as of now.

He did mention sports betting to be voted on at the end of the year and they have a plan in place to start immediately if approved.

I also tweeted and called the junkies radio to ask about the sketchy mask bin. They refused to answer.

And bruce and Dopey get a day off for their long string of nonsense bickering. Next time you guys want to do that take it to PM, nobody else is interested.

If you have issues with moderation please raise them in the Moderation Discussion thread. The casino threads are not the place to discuss them. But basically what dc said, he gets it. Nobody is stopping you folks from discussing it in the CCP coronavirus thread.

mod: I have moved a number of posts about moderation to the moderation thread. Continue the conversation there please if you wish. Continued posting about it here in this thread will result in your post being deleted and increasing ban lengths.

To emphasize the original point/questions:

1- Posts specific to CV and its effect at MGM NH are allowed here
2- Posts generally about CV, its realness/fakeness, the effectiveness of masks, etc. should happen only in the CV containment thread in CCP
3- Posts about politics, or general namecalling, trolling, or bad behavior are not allowed anywhere in CCP, and will be deleted, and you may find yourself banned or exiled

The long string of argumentative dick measuring between Dopey and bruce definitely fell under #3 above. Please don't repeat conduct like that.

Any further questions about moderation, issues with the guidance above, etc., please post them in the moderation discussion thread, here: https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/2...sting-1532632/

We are happy to discuss the moderation rules in place here, but please conduct it in that thread.

Thank you.

Some quick suggestions to learn from MDL's early mistakes with the new measures.

1) Force people to keep all their chips in one stack and don't allow people to keep their stacks in separate piles in opposite ends of the plexiglass corners in their cubicles. People are angling with this since visibility is already hindered.

2) Dont allow neighbors to keep their stacks in the same corner on opposite ends of the plexiglass. See picture for reference - these are 2 separate stacks but easily could be mistaken for 1 stack:

Good ideas above. Also, round the edges of the plexiglass to prevent cuts and ensure all seven seats have well-proportioned space for comfort. The original design felt like seats 4,5,6 were in an airplane on econoclass and seat changes were rampant out of those seats, a hassle for staff (who had to disinfect seats) and players (who were extremely uncomfortable while they waited for a more spacious seat to free up).

Also, we need to talk men's room again. There are only three or four urinals in there and a few sinks. This is going to be an even bigger issue if the casino must remove one or more urinals for distancing measures. If nothing changes, we'll just have to use the downstairs bathroom I guess....

Entitled first world social distancing problems. Less capacity at mgmnh means less need for urinals. Myself, I prefer sinks.

Agree with Havax. Players at Maryland Live are seeing the plexiglass as an opportunity to get really creative with hiding chips. Some are keeping a stack or two on their far right and another stack or two on the far left. It's easy to misjudge how much money someone has.

Dude when you stack up like 800 with 600 in reds playing 1/3, it gets hard to manage when you only have like 2 inches of space due to the plexiglass. I was stacking my reds on one side and my greens on the other and got in trouble for that, I would never try to angle anyone but i'm a bigger dude and the hole there to put chips in to action is so small that the chip stacks constantly get in the way & get knocked over. I completely understand the concern if you are in a seat and try to look two players to your right there is a reflection off the plexiglass that is really deceiving but until they add some extra breathing room for chips I don't know how the problem is going to be fixed.

Damn, trob888 just hit him with that big brain knowledge.

I can't wait for the time i have the nuts and put a small 75 bet on the river but say all in to the dealer and the poor kid I'm heads up with snap calls and then he has to ship me 500+

Mask bin still the same, reach in touch 2+ and out it on. The masks are trash btw.

This time the fevar scanner person had each person take the mask off, as where before it was just take your hat off. Another bad policy IMO.

Luckily MDL has giant red circle ALL IN buttons that are even more important than ever now. It's really hard to hear what a person or a dealer is saying though the muffled mask + plexiglass. I hope MGM will introduce these buttons. The yellow "PLAYING BEHIND" buttons would be nice too.

Oh yeasss. Introduce another option to touch stuff and spread the virus great idea. Does the dealer take it back everytime the all in hand is over?

May I remind you when you have the dealer button, is the actual dealer moving it or no. Bc before covid I just slide it to the left...."button good"

It’s very annoying when players move the button. Even though it’s well intentioned about 100 percent of errors where the button is moved twice (screwing up the next hand) are caused by this. Just let the dealer do it, obvious exception is when they ask you to move it or they obviously can’t reach.

Also the all in buttons and money behind buttons increase the integrity of the game so their are few ambiguities where someone is mislead or doesn’t understand the action and it’s clear when someone is playing additional chips in transit. Why anyone would be against a casino adding them is beyond me.

Agreed. Let the dealer control the game.
