To answer my own question, I’m here now and it is in fact a fake 10/25 NL game running on Bravo. Johnny, any progress on resolving this issue? Earlier in the week I called in to double check if the game was actually running and was told it was. When I came in there was no game. If you’re not able to fix the issue can you at least make sure your staff is aware of the problem and communicates it to players?

The sole reason we have comp rates as high as we do is to offset the lack of tier credits.
Seems fair, Borg comps are a bit less ($2 at 5/10, $1.5 at 1/2 which is closest comparison to 1/3)

Is this expected to be somewhat soon or still a way off?

My experience has been that the MGMNH tier credit earnings on table games and vp/slots are far less than MGM properties in Vegas.

So while something is technically better than nothing, I wouldn't be too too excited about getting tier credits just yet.

But what are the specific benefits of higher tiers at National Harbor? From the website, it's free parking (if/when National Harbor starts to charge) and extra slot bonus. Don't really see any benefits to strictly poker players. At Borg, Gold+ players have Amphora Lounge and Buffet for $12.50 which is probably the biggest perk there.

Hey folks, could we maybe dial down the outrage and indignation about any issue with the room? There are more constructive ways to identify problems and suggest improvements. And to his credit, Johnny has been extremely receptive to feedback.

If you would like people to dial down the outrage and indignation about any issues with the room, you should reveal more constructive ways to identify problems and suggest improvements.

It could end up being something like the MLife rooms do in Vegas - I am pretty sure there are no tier credits, but like 50 hours of play in a year gets you the bump to Pearl or whatever it is, and i think it was 150 hours for Gold. I'm pretty sure it just gets you free parking (Pearl) and free valet (Gold), along with some line cutting, but at least it takes care of that stuff. I don't know if there are any buffet deals or anything like that - I will say, as someone who's played a lot at Borgata, the Amphora Lounge for $10-12 bucks is a pretty nice little perk.

Borgata also gives pretty good room comps for poker players, but they do their whole comp system different out there and they have a lot more rooms available to give away.

There's some sort of catch there, right? A few years ago they were doing the free cruises, but the booking fee was outrageous. So you were saving some money over the regular rate for a cruise, but if it's not something you would be interested in otherwise, it was still like several hundred bucks.

(Sorry for the brief derail.)

$49.99/night resort fee is all i know. I fully expect to have some other hidden fees but seems like a lot of wiggle room since id pay more thsn 50/night to go.

I mean, the catch might be that they expect youll play a lot of table gamrs since nassau is a dump. It looks like PCA happened in January this year but hasnt been announced yet so im waiting to try and book for whatever events i wanna do, so ill probably have update in jan...

Nassau is awful. I could not believe how ugly the area outside of Atlantis was. Plus make sure you aren’t at Atlantis while a cruise is in port because since it’s the only place worth going on the whole island it gets overrun with cruise passengers. I don’t even think I would go back on a comped stay.

For the current Caesar's promotion of matching MGM Gold, you can only do that once, so you would only receive one trip out of matching.

This is not correct. Not to further derail, but quickly, there are a couple of great restaurants and local places to go to within a short cab ride (or long walk). The note about timing with cruises is probably right.

Ah, yes, the resort fees. Thanks guys, don't want to further derail, but if I do take the trip I'll research cruise timing and the area!

Caesars goes till jan 31. You can match caesars to Wyndham on Jan 1 (goes till dec 31) and then match wyndam back to caesars feb 1, until the end of time.

I also got like $540 in slot dollars, a bunch of free food, free hotel rooms etc last time i was in AC.

Also bonus, i think 20%(?) off hotels in vegas as well as special rates sometimes (like im being offered $69/night from aria certain weekends)

Just saying theres plenty of value to be had if you do your HW. Having done the research it may well be better off in some other thread in some other forum for people to know but... whelp i posted it here and on borgata thread instead. Oops.

They don’t show up online. It’s a whole thing. It’s a can of worms not worth opening. Johnny is working on it. You just have to ask the check in people what your balance is.

Tournament calendar shows a 8/18 Saturday satellite with two $2,700 seats guaranteed. The PPO just ended. Is there a tournament that’s actually taking place or is this a satellite to some other event?
