It's hardly noticeable at the 1/3 games but if you play 2/5 consistently it's a major problem. I've been stuck on bad tables for a while and have asked for a table change but it takes a while - and sometimes the floor forgets, while these other people just do it. One guy in particular probably jumps to 5 tables a night - plays like 3 orbits - walks around - plays a few more and jumps to a new table. it's really strange, not sure how he knows the game is bad with in 30 hands, but meh.
The floor doesn't seem to care at all - and I think are fed up.
Everybody knows this guy. The last day in the old room he was on table 11. He transferred to my table. Within 30 min he had transferred back to 11. I took a 15-20 min break and when I came back he was at my table again. Not sure why this is acceptable.
One possible solution for this is the use of generic table change cards. Ask for a table change, brush approves and gives you a card, you give it to the dealer at the requested table. Rinse and repeat. Since they won't have specific table numbers on them, they can just make a bunch of them and won't need to constantly go around to collect them from tables.
