Just left, wanted to say again room is A++. Very happy I pulled an all nighter to see it right when it opened, even though apparently no sleep makes me a bit loopy and combative haha.

Id say any nitpicks should be held for a few weeks while they get settled in, ive got to figure organization and signage are already on Johnnys radar.

Noise doesnt bother me, but to give an alternate opinion to Havox, the room is louder, as in... action. People talking, people moving around. Good!! A bit of slot noise on one side but id say less overall machine noise than before, which seriously if you dislike human nose youre complaining about the sound of money heading to your pockets.

I think personal favorite part of the room is the elevator opening up to it, just feels so much more exciting than the elevator to the casino floor. If the floor button got changed to “P” for poker would have even more coolness factor (although more realistic is maybe like.... C2 for casino floor 2?)

Would you like this forum to be a general blind praise thread where we pretend everything is perfect? Or would it be more useful for feedback to improve the room and everyone's experience?

Is there anyone more miserable on this planet than you?

Amazing setup and room quality. Agree with everything that has been said...especially the elevator L2 touch. It’s like the Wynn with 10x the action

New room is awesome. Can you please designate more tables to 5card or plo in the future? There were no other wait lists similar to those games.

This x100.

Bravo currently shows waitlists of 34, 32, and 20 for 1/2 5 card, 5/5 5 card and 1/2 4 card respectively.

With no waitlist at all for 1/3 or 2/5.

For some time I've been playing up the road almost exclusively for this reason.

Let's show some love for the Great Game guys.

5/5 gets the shaft in other ways, too. 10/25 NLHE (not sure about 5/10 NL) have been able to order from Ginger and the sushi place from the food servers, but 5/5 PLO can't, despite that fact that every dealer and player I've talked to insists that 5/5 plays bigger than 10/25.

I’m confused (don’t play at mgm frequently); do you need to play in a high stakes game to have the privilege of ordering food from one of the casino restaurants?

This is partially the reason I'll play elsewhere more than I want to - and I live 10 minutes from MGMNH. To be fair though, this issue goes back at least 6-8 months, not a new problem to tag the new room with.

Love love love the new room. I can’t tell you how happy I am to have food right next to the room. As someone that is of a younger demographic it was so annoying having to show my id to get in every time I got up to get food. Having a food option inside security is awesome. The bar looks great too. I imagine the race book will be a sports book when Maryland gets around to legalizing sports betting and I will probably never see the light of day again. The only issue I had was the free for all at the cage. A rope is needed to form a line but I’m sure that will be rectified soon. I honestly put this room right up there with the elite rooms in the country. Well done Johnny, well done.

You did not need to to order crabcakes, burritos, pizza, or deli sandwiches, but you did to order sushi, Ginger (Asian restaurant), or Shake Shack. I don't really know why.

I'm not sure what the case is in the upstairs room yet.

For Ginger, the time it took to pick up orders made the wait for the food court orders take even longer.

In the beginning they were doing sushi orders but people started making the orders complicated and nixed that. Same with Starbucks

They had a rope up at the cashier cage by the time I cashed out to leave at 9

Johnny, a question: the cage would not permit me to add my wife’s driver’s license to my box. Is that a new policy?

Loving the new leg room at 2/5. Thanks again for the switch to 9-handed!

If there are new rules for the new room (first buy in at the cage, only $100 bills accepted for add-ons purchased from dealer), please drill this into the staff’s heads. I’m a big fan of these rules, as they keep the game moving faster (win/win for all involved), but already on day one I’ve seen dealers ignore them and sell new players their chips from a stack of $20’s.

I’m very excited about the new room, and think it would be amazing if we could use this as a fresh start to buckle down on enforcement of room rules and policies. Thanks.

We have prioritized 1/3 and 2/5 since opening, as those games typically serve a much wider base. Almost all
5card players will play 1/3, but most deifnitely not vice versa. With the expanded table space, it will make things much easier to accomodate. Let’s see how things develop over the next week. A lot of these issues tens to sort themselves out as we tweak the game locations...

Read that the 2nd floor expansion total cost was $48m.
Wow!

Heard from a slot attendant that the old poker room will be the new high limit slots.

Wished they made the 2nd floor high limit slots instead.
(More) people with too much $$$ sees all the tables and might decide to try poker.

Johnny, can you make this happen?

What shocked me was the costs.
For relatively small space, Figured a few million.

Never expected mid 10 figures
