I think he's asking if the @MGMNH_Poker page could do a daily rundown.

The flyer is posted in the poker room, and the rules are on our website. Estimates for the event range from 400-600 players...

Rapini there is a dedicated department that lists/responds about the activities in the poker room (like the other place).

It would be nice if they could list specials (tournaments/high hands etc.,) in the room everyday.

I don't have any issues in listing them on twitter, I wasn't sure, as the calendar did not list the tournaments for today. Since I am not an authorized person for MGM, the information won't be deemed authentic.

It is nice to hear that you are expecting around 600 people for the tournament on thursday.

Please add a dinner break after Level 16 or 17 as the tournament would be a long one.

This is a one day event.

They are just having a meetup and registration on Wednesday. The tournament starts on Thursday and it is a one day tournament.

so i think im gonna do this tourney tomorrow, i basically never do tourneys so is there a link to MGM tourney rules or something? The one i did youd get a penalty for acting out of turn and everyone had to show when its all in. I heard something about you must bet the nuts on the river last to act. Anything else thats different from cash?

JG Is a member of the TDA board. I imagine that TDA rules apply, the 2017 version of which can be obtained here:

Nah, you pretty much got it. Fwiw, I almost never play tournaments and played one the other day and didn't have much of an issue with rules or anything like that.

Junkies Tournament was Great Success Yesterday. Well run compared to other large field tourneys (though I am sure there will plenty of people nit picking).

So Cudos to the MGM Poker Team!

Tournament did set a record for the coldest room ever to hold a Poker Tournament.
I mean really - why was with the AC set to Polar Vortex and on full blast?

Hats off to whoever finally pulled the trigger on setting up the Free Hot Coffee Station.
I dropped 6 bucks on two coffees ($3 each) before first break. Didn't drink them - just keeping my hands warm.

I didn't play the tournament but was in the poker room for much of the day yesterday. It really sounds like this event was a big success. There were tons of people playing who had never been to MGM before and they all seemed to really enjoy the tournament. Hopefully this event sticks with MGM going forward. I did hear many of them complain about how cold it was in the theater. This isn't the same venue that the PPO is being held in, is it? If so hopefully the climate control can be dealt with before then.

Thanks everyone! Normally, the theater is kept very cool. When 700-800 people pack the space, the ambient temperature will rise 3-4 degrees. Yesterday that didn’t happen, and by the time we realized and activated the temp control, it took a couple hours to warm up that cavernous space...

In any event, the PPO will be in the convention ballroom. It should be considerably warmer in there. My team had a great time yesterday, as many of us have a background in running large scale poker events. We are definitely looking forward to the Potomac Poker Open next month....

I saw an exit sign in the parking lot that said something to the effect of "Have you paid for parking yet? Exit here."

On the plus side I got a credit card offer for MGM that said that if I sign up, I'll get free parking at all MGM properties. Guess I'll probably do that then.

If it’s this credit card it just upgrades you to pearl. No need to bother with it unless you’re sapphire.

Pearl and higher gives you free self parking.

JG - any idea if MGMNH will be following the MGM LV "corporate" standards for paid parking? IE gold and higher free valet parking?

http://www2.mgmresorts.com/parking/

Thanks.
