As a weekend regular in both Borgata and Foxwoods 20 games, I can confidently state is is EXTREMELY rare for someone to initially buy into a game with 5 racks. The norm is two or 3 racks (1k - 1.5k). With some short stacking lower, and very rarely a larger initial but-in. And while nl folks think it is just limit, variance is a lot higher than 5-10 nl. 800$+ pots are common at times. 80+% of hands go to river; many multi-way. In mid NL fewer hands even see flop and only 20% see river, and few multi-way.
People sitting on 6+ racks of chips have won, others have rebought -when low. Building a castle is fun. Two trips to the window to cashout 10 racks is a good problem.
The game is fun, give it a try.
