I stand by that comment.
I agree 100%. Anyone who uses a quote, but cut and pastes only part of it so it is taken out of context pretty much loses all credibility. Go work for the media or be a politician if you want to do that.

Probably won't be answered outside a pm. Kinda poor form to ask that in an open forum. We actually frown upon that topic in a public setting.

There was just 3 names on the 20/40 mix interest list and now the list is gone?

Can anyone explain that?

JG - What's the reason for table 33 still being so jammed up next to 34/32? A few months ago we were told it was a camera issue but there is clearly room to spread these out.

Hey Johnny was curious about why in Time games people are being lobbied while away from table. We are still paying rake and should be allowed to get our credits while away. I realize it's small amount of money but if you take a 30 minute break to eat every day you play it will add up over the year.

If it's for time keeping reasons would you consider implementing absent buttons like they use at borgata and a similar system?
I think their system is better anyway because as the system here is now you can walk for 88 minutes come back play 3 hands and go walk for 90 more. The absent button system prevents this

Absent buttons are given out if a player is gone when the new dealer sits, if a player gets 3 (gone for 90 minutes) they are picked up. The only way to get rid of them is give them to the new dealers, 1 at a time so you are forced to play some before walking again

Thanks

1-2 PLO, about 20+ names ahead of me, called in 1hr 50 mins.
1-3 NL, about 80+ names ahead of me, called in 2hrs 15 mins from start time.
2-5 NL, about 60+ names ahead of me, called in 3hrs from start time.

Yes, I moved tables each time I was called.
Two weeks ago I was there Monday through Thursday, everyday I was there by 2-3pm and never had to wait to be seated. I think on one of the days I was in 1-3 and had to wait around an hour to get into 2-5. I would recommend getting there earlier especially on the weekend. Only 39 tables in that area, and being brand new, I'm not surprised that they are maxed out on the weekends.

Cameras, lighting and electrical. The soffit above one table doesn't have lighting and wiring is an issue. We have an alternate plan coming, but it will take a little time.

I have used that system and prefer it. The team and I will discuss and may put it in to play

There's no way to move 34 and 32 out even one foot? I left way earlier than planned tonight because 33 is just tough to play at - and we had three players table change that, unfortunately, took huge stacks with them.

Dealers pushing off 34 are constantly slamming into the players and same on the other side with players coming off 32. With all the cameras above both sections I guess I have a hard time believing that they couldn't steal *one* foot for 34 and 32.

Please don't let people walk for 90 minute, regardless of whether the game is time charged or not. Encourage people to use the dinner list instead.

It is very inconsiderate to occupy a seat in a busy room while you are not playing for more than an hour at a time.

This happens routinely at the 5 10 NLH and the 60 120 limit. There room permits playing over in at least the 60 game.

Had to retrieve my login info just to comment here! Let me start with some positive feedback:

- Great poker room, one of my favorite to play in. Nice to see some of the old Aria crew made the move over.
- Although it started out rough, I've noticed steady improvement in the dealer quality. There are some awesome dealers, and some ... less awesome. But the less awesome ones have slowly improved.

Now some items for improvement:
- 3 months in, cage and chip runners continue to be a major pain point. I'm guessing the poker room doesn't have control over the cage, but I've never seen a slower cage. I noticed the roving chip cart made a huge improvement in getting dealers fills and players chips this weekend, definitely keep doing this.
- Some of the noob/lazy floors could use some retraining in how to handle floor call situations. (ie. calmly take in all info, then clearly explain ruling to all parties.) Most of the floors are great, but there are a couple who are not.

A non poker room complaint:
- Who can I complain to about the bathroom situation? It is totally disgraceful that the bathroom sinks have been "Out of Service" (with kleenex box signage) for 3+ weeks now! How is it possible that a business that take in somewhere from 1-2 mil in revenue per day (my guess) cannot repair some bathroom sinks? Everyone in the chain of management responsible for maintaining the casino should be fired.

Lastly on the 10 handed debate I see going on here. At 2/5 I don't think it matters. I generally hate 10 handed play because it tends to be nitty, but that is not a problem currently. The 2/5 games are not lacking in action. So I see no reason to change it.

It seems to me that they installed a sink faucet/soap/dryer system that while great in theory doesn't work reliably with constant use. Wouldn't be surprised to see them replace the mechanism soon if they can't get what they have working reliably. I kinda hate all hand dryers other than the dyson blade thing because you stand there for 5 minutes and end up wiping your hands on your pants anyway.

+1 on the bathroom issue. Its really bad to have 3 sinks out of order for weeks at a time. Even if they are looking at other options, in the mean time they should find a way to get them working. I have seen other issues in both that room and the one toward the front. I'm surprised in an MGM facility that is brand new there are this many maintenance issues with the restrooms.

Finally got a chance to go checkout the market place area. Hidden beside the Accents (Home and Garden) store found two water fountains and water bottle filling station.

I know some of us would like to take a stroll to get some activity during our sessions. Now you know where to find some water while walking.

Also, wouldn't be nice if JG runs the whole place. At least he would be receptive to comments and work towards a solution.

JG if you didn't figure it out yet, I am shilling for the room.

Everyone,
Due to the very high likelihood of inclement weather tomorrow, we have made the decision to cancel our 11AM tournament. We apologize for any inconvenience it may cause, and plan to return to our regular tournament schedule on Wednesday.

Please share this to others if possible. And if you decide to come play cash games tonight, be safe and drive carefully. The extra few minutes you might gain by driving faster aren't worth the risk.

I see the 20/40 is going today, does the 10/20 ever go anymore? Featured games used to be listed on Bravo at first, but aren't anymore. Was there just not enough interest or did they just not go with any regularity? I know the 60/120 goes quite often, but I'm not quite there yet.

The 10/20 went for a couple of weekends, but we just don't have a pool big enough to draw from. The 20/40 game goes at least one day a week, but usually not much more than that. I have had a surprisingly hard time in getting limit players to play. If anyone has any ideas, I am all ears.

Well that sucks. I don't remember who it was now, but wasn't there someone who said they had a list of limit players in the area when there was talk of trying to establish some regular limit games at MGM? What ever happened with that conversation?

The 20 and 60 get organized that way. We never really had enough critical mass of people interested/somebody to organize for anything smaller.
