heard autoshufflers cost an obscene lease price of $15k+/yr?
(I'm surprised a 3rd party hasn't stepped up in making them since the patent expired. )
If they didnt pay for themselves you would not see them in every poker room in the country.

I am afraid I am going to file a pretty particular request.

I am a soda drinker. However I try to look after my weight so it's only diet soda for me. However, I also have trouble with my sleep schedule so I also avoid any kind of caffeinated sodas. So that means either caffeine free coke zero or diet Sierra mist/sprite zero.

I would really appreciate it if the casino featured any of those drinks. It's something I miss a lot on the other casinos. Yes, I can drink water or ginger ale, but it's suboptimal.

Thanks.

Drink club soda with a lime, you still get the soda "feel" and no caffeine/sugars

You said that water is sub-optimal, but that is incorrect objectively.

+1

Club Soda w/splash of cranberry is my goto.

Hard to find no-caf, no-sugar sodas everywhere. Besides, they're probably worse for you than regular soda!

Oh I played there, and I can attest. Played some 1/3 1000bb effective several times, and very, very often 300-400 bb.

The 2/5 would get real big too.

The Joys of an uncapped must move, LOL

Johnny, I'm spending a couple years in Japan for my Uncle, and I may be moving to my hometown of DC early 2018. I hope so, and I look forward to coming to say hello. Worst case its back to the Gulf Coast and the Beau.

So Henry got the bump? Good for him. Quality guy.

There's some new news today about food options at MGM NH:

Actually, it looks like MGM has a nice chunk of the website up, too, which I hadn't seen until now:

https://www.mgmnationalharbor.com/en/restaurants.html

The few interior renderings seem promising.

thx!

lol at comments:
a food hall at a casino is just a trendy way of saying food court.
The "Bento" is basically a Panda Express in equally generic clothing.

and im hoping they have a buffet.
plus I await the food offerings offered IN the poker room

Yeah, like the commenter, I got a kick out of the euphemistic marketing. In that regard, MGM is a good match for DC. But hopefully even the casual fare will be slightly above standard food-court quality.

Just seeing this thread for the first time and wanted to voice my support for uncapped 1/2 or 2/5.

Regardless of whether that happens, thanks JohnnyGrooms for posting here. Looking forward to MGMNH opening later this year.

I really do like playing at MDL but the MGMNH food options alone are making me pretty excited to possibly make the move down. Looks promising.

Will the poker room be opening when the rest of the casino opens?

Or will it be delayed?

This will be a good mix of everything offered in the aforementioned "food hall"

Let's make this room special. No 1/2 or 1/3 games

that would certainly set it apart from the other nearby poker rooms.
and strangely, I would play 2/5 nl over 2/2 plo here if there's nothing lower.

That would certainly be "special". If you consider that a variation of that game normally contains 40-50% of the player base, not having it would take a "special" kind of room.... One that would result in a change of management very soon after opening.
