With Aussie players getting shut out from pokerstars mid September and an awful casino setup with only 1 tournament a week that sometimes is 11 handed due to the lack of tables and terrible rake in the cash games I thought I would post about a club I found no more than a 10 minute walk from the casino with different parking options available.

Matchroom adelaide is a members only poker room that offers tournaments every night except for Tuesday and Saturday with satellites to the nightly events always running for a smaller buyin. The membership fee is 10$ for the year and that includes a complimentary buffet at 6:30 on the nights mentioned and 5:30 on Sunday. Buyins start from 75$ and go up to 550$ for the once a month super Sunday. There is also satellite tickets to be won to the Aussie millions and other big events that happen around Australia. In October they are running a poker series with a main event with a 1500$ buyin and many other nice buyin/prizepool events.

It is a very neat and tidy room with friendly staff and dealers which is a nice change to how the casino can be most of the time. There is a bar there and also pool tables and plenty of comfy lounges, places to relax along with free wifi.

I'm a new member there and thought why not get the word out. They have a website and Facebook page under ( matchroom adelaide ) where you can see there schedules and so on.
