Last Saturday the wait was only ~9 ppl at about 12, according to bravo.

There should be something on bravo that tracks average # of tables open and waits for different games over the course of the week... hm... I think I've got my next perl script idea lol

They have a very limited number of deposit boxes. If you play high enough stakes talk to mike or supervisor at the room. For the mass majority of us we carry are own money or chips into and out of casino.

in theory, gold card has a 1.25x comp multipler and platinum is 1.5x so 750 and 900, respectively.
but I didn't see the 1.5x on my platinum card the one time I looked this week.
(only got 2000 pts for ~3hrs at the same table. suppose to be 3000 points.)

and whats RC?
I just got my gold card today and they mentionded that it will take like a week for it to go into effect.

BoA across the street has some safety deposit boxes also.

You can keep 1 k for 1 week using the credit appl here and over 2.5 K is good for 21 days.

How many poker hours to get a gold card?

19999 tier credits is gold. Divide by 600 tier points per hour, it would take 33 hours.

I think I am qualify for the gold. Do they auto upgrade u to gold or you have to go to the reward center and ask for it. I guess if they do the auto upgrade u still have to get a new gold card.

Also, if u play different games do u get different points or everybody gets the same points regardless of what games u play.

Is there a list of what I can actually use comp dollars on somewhere? As a vegetarian, there's very few food options, so what else? Will the upcoming masseuse's be comp-able?

The buffet has a decent selection of vegetarian stuff.

when I ate there b4, it was lunch. they had salmon and beef brisket.

dinner costs a few $ more than lunch but instead of salmon/beef brisket, they now have hotdogs?! WTF?!?

and the food was dry.

uuggg...
To add to this, the pizza they serve is HORRIBLE!!! We need a better selection and choice of food Mike!

OK salad bar, plus had a sweet potato, brussel sprouts, and sauteed spinach. I'm not a vegetarian but that is some of what I had the time I went.

Yeah I like the brick oven idea or whatever, but I'm pretty sure the pizzas come frozen and they seem to sit out too long too. It is OK... but not worth heading over to the buffet for it.

There hasn't been much mention of the mall food court which is literally across the way... guys just don't like the options there? Or... don't want to leave the casino?... or?....

Last I heard you can't bring anything from the mall into the casino.

Has there been an update in the backpack policy? I've been seeing more and more get security.

Food court is an option during waking hours. Doesn't help much when you need something at 3:00 am. Only options at the point are Noodles and the sandwiches/$7 hotdogs.

Also people want to be able to use their comps on good food options. This is part of the equation of being profitable at the tables. When you hit platinum, you will have over $400 in comps. That's money down the drain if you can't spend it on something worthwhile and you have to come out your pocket to go buy outside food or food that is not covered by the comps(e.g. Prime Rib, Bobby's and Cheesecake Factory).

If/when they get those other restuarants on board, it will make the comp dollars more valuable.

On one of my first trips to ML, I went to the food court for dinner. I had 2 slices of cheese pizza and a bottle of soda from Sbarro. It cost me over $11. The slices of pizza were $4 each. Someone told me that the "$5 footlong" they advertise at Subway was $7. Plus, you have to eat in the foodcourt, since you can't bring anything into the casino. The slices of cheese pizza I had at ML this past weekend were $3.50 each and I paid in comp dollars, so they were essentially free. Not great pizza, but it was OK.

I spent $11 at the cheesesteak place once....never again. So far the best option for using the comp dollars is noodles I think. Unless you're starving and then the buffet isn't so bad, the quality of food just isn't great there.

Comp dollars don't go down the tube if you don't spend them on food. Can use them in the slot machines to win real $$....

Yes, that's an option but that is about the same as letting the money go to waste.

I think it was mentioned that comp dollars could be used for tourney entry fees at some point in the future.

Mike, can you confirm if this is on the road map?

I think you can already use comp $$ at the prime rib, but I'm not sure. Also, I have been told they are working on deals with Bobbys and the Cheesecake Factory, but it may end up costing double points to get food from those places.

+1. Kathy Raymond at The Venetian does this. Good idea.

I just called to check to see if comps could be used at Prime Rib and I was told no.
