Korean restaurant that replaced Bobby's burgers is finally open.

You can use your players card directly to deduct comps.

My fav is bulgogi with squid ($38) but I love calamari.
It is spicy. I ask for less spicy.

I also like the bibim bop but I don't think it's worth $3 extra for it to be served in a hot stone bowl. (Sauce is served on the side)

1:1? That's pretty good. I'll definitely have to try next time I'm there. I imagine the bbq prices are insane. I'll be more interested in their individual kitchen dishes, like the squid bokkeum AA mentioned (it's not bulgogi).

Yes 1:1 comps. Unlike Caesars or MGM, i dont think any restaurant at Live is 2:1 comps.

yeah, the bbq prices are high But i guess it's labor. They cook the food for you in the bbq pit at your table.
So ordering Bugolgi dish is $30, bbq pit bulgogi is $37.

You can also get the food to go.
There's no surcharge like Luck Fu but i like sitting down and eating there. The service is very good.
The waiter to tables ratio seems higher than Cheesecake factory.
And i want to enjoy the dishes instead of wolfing it down, till at least i get used to them.

It's stupid that on Live's site, it doesn't list the prices. (Same goes for Luck Fu)
Here's the menu WITH prices:
https://kohobbq.com/menu/

edit:
Interestingly enough, that menu doesn't list the calamari options.
While i love Calamari, eating just that would leave me hungry.

Under Maryland lives new rake structure at 1/3

folds to BTN - he opens to $10
SB folds
BB calls

$21 pot
Check
BTN bets
Fold

$2 to house - $2 to jackpot drop - and dealer tip of $1

You only win $6 - seems like you need to be a really wild table to make it worth playing 1/3

The jackpot drop should be $10/$30/$50 or $10/$50/$100

Either open to 9 or 13 seems like step #1

2/2 PLO went to $7/down from $6. No jackpot

right - $7 isn't bad for that game with the action it has.

For whatever it's worth, 2/2 PLO at Charles Town is $6/half. No comps whatsoever though, and it's 4-card PLO.

When does that run? I'll have to come play that - 4 card isn't bad

So I was thinking more into this - and if you open BTN to 9 and SB calls you have the same problem - pot is now $21 and they still take $4 in rake.

You risk $9 to win $17 or $16 with a $1 deal tip.

$12 open would be $25 if BB only calls and $27 if SB only calls

-5 as I tip $1 every pot that goes to flop

so $20 or $22 pot won

Jeez still rough

It runs every Friday afternoon, starting at 3pm.

I'd recommend calling ahead and getting on the list.

This is 1/3: make it $15 to go and you'll still get action… not that I disagree with the point your making.

Ya but you're risking a lot if you're just trying to steal

Pots in 1/3 need to get over the $50 thresh hold but it's really hard to win a lot of money at 1/3 because of the rake trap. I don't play some more speculative hands that I would play at a better rake game unless the player is really bad so it's really nitty boring style.

I just think these promo funds are getting way out of hand. I can't imagine anyone likes them this high. I mean if promo funds are so great, why not just take even more and have crazy promotions?

Don't try to steal blinds at 1/3
