Is there a way to track actual hours in the card room since tier credits combine? I don't play in the pit, so for me, it's as simple as converting 100 credits as an hour but I've always been curious if there's a way to get the actual numbers.

There is a self service Bravo computer facing customers on right side of the brush stand. Swipe card and you can check your hours for the year.

More like 14. Lol! I wish I had that kind of time to play cards.

It's 19 hours a day if you want off weekends

I'm curious if anyone has ever tried to or succeeded to grind that with just poker? I wonder what it would do to you health wise.

Like the Randy Gardner Sleep Deprivation experiment in the 60's

When I first read their website showing the 5K poker hour black card I thought they were just trolling us. Then I learned otherwise.

Wasn't me personally, but I do know with 100% certainty that someone has earned black card from 5K poker hours in 1 year. Don't think we are supposed to out non-famous people on TwoPlusTwo using real names so I won't say who it was.

I’m highly skeptical. Anyone deranged enough to do that probably plays slots as well. Plus, the hours counted have to be AT the table. Any time you walk away the dealers take you out of the bravo, even if it’s just to take a piss.

Would you like to wager on it? Have to escrow the bet.

That's 14hr days every single day of the year.

Honestly it doesn't seem possible.

That is what I thought as well, until I was shown otherwise. It has happened, well before COVID.

My assumption would be it was a lot of 20-40 hour days with breaks in between. If you're young enough and enough of a maniac... It could be done

It’s cute here folks complain about a $5-$3 fake, as gross as it is. It’s $10-$2 up here in Boston….

Mike retired. If you’ve played in the room you’ve probably seen Chris. All the dealers seem to think he was the right guy for the job.

Is he the guy who raised the jackpot drop an extra dollar?

Then, maybe not.

Could be wrong/misled, but it’s my understanding that we have yet to see any Angelo decisions implemented.

Didn't know that Mike retired! Thanks for that info!

If it’s who I think it is, while I’ve never had any interaction with him the dealers have always spoken highly of him. I think Mike did a really great job with this room and if Chris has been learning under him he’s had a pretty good roadmap to success. ( although certainly not a fan of the extra $ drop). Congrats to Mike on his retirement and congrats to Chris on his new opportunity.

My apologies for not posting sooner. There are many new facets I am getting used to in this role, 2+2 being one of them. As has been pointed out, I am the new Director of Poker here at Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland. If you have played at night, then chances are very good that we have crossed paths in some way. Prior to this position, since our opening in 2013, I was the swing shift manager. I have worked with Mike, off and on, for nearly 20 years, and plan on taking what I've learned from him and applying it as I go forward. We continue to have a strong, customer-focused team. With them, I look forward to this opportunity and what lies ahead for the room. I will do my best to stay present on here, but please don't hesitate to stop me and say hi if you see me in the room. I'll be the guy walking around with glasses and spiked hair.

Congratulations, as a rec player that comes infrequently, you probably wouldn't recognize me, but I have always thought you were great at what you do when we interact.

I'll make sure to say hi next time I see you.
