is 7 handed by state law or by the limitations of the plastic dividers?

also, wouldnt requiring having everyone to wear a face shield be equivalent to the plastic dividers and still be 9handed?
(you would probably have to provide/sell the face shields the dealers wear though)

9 handed and no dividers doesn't promote social distancing.

On March 24th I received an email that stated:
". . . The shutdown of our operations will not impact your tier status, comps, points, and offers. When we resume normal operations, all those items will be honored . . . Operationally, at a minimum, we will extend the expiration date of those items to cover the period we were shutdown, plus significantly more . . ."

I have a large amount of self comps that obviously I do not want to lose. I have not been to Maryland Live since February and do not intend to return in the near future. Is there any update on how long self comps will be preserved? I could not find anything on the website. Thank you.

From the live casino app, my comps have a 9/20/20 expiration date. I haven't been there since beginning of march.

Sorry if this has been answered and I am too lazy to search, but I saw
On bravo that only certain card levels are allowed to enter but it also says “and guests”, does this mean anyone can get in as long as they are with a card
Member? I live in NJ and have never been to live, but I’m willing to make the drive if I can get in

I went in morning the other day. They didn't ask for anything. I believe if it's dead and reservations are not full they dont bother. Probably dont want to turn away customers.

Mike:

could you do this to allow 8 players?

(credit DCJ001 at the MGM-NH subforum. he said this was from a CA poker room)

Yeah that makes sense but it’s Saturday and I’m sure the reservations are probably booked up. I don’t want to drive 2.5 hours to get told at the door I can’t come in. Has anyone else been able to walk in without a reservation???

I walked in last night around 8 and they weren’t checking for reservations. I had one but they didn’t ask to see it. Place was packed too. They also didn’t care about whatever parking restrictions they have in place.

I dont know what it was like before, but there's tons of room for the 3 and 5 seats now. Seat 4 definitely has the least space but seems tolerable.

Interesting so anyone can park in the garage now? That would be a huge plus for me. Also this is what it now says on their website re: reservations. I have a gold card in my wallet but I have no idea if I’m still really gold or if that matters.

Cardholders with a status of Chairman, Jade, Black Card, Platinum or Gold Card will be able to enter the property via a dedicated lane without the need for a reservation.
All Classic (Red) cardholders will need a reservation to enter the casino beginning on Monday, June 22

There was a security guard at the parking lot entrance, he asked me what color card I had, I said gold and he waived me through. Didn’t ask to see it. I’m red.

Thanks for the update. Sounds like the improvements Mike promised worked out well.

Opening weekend the 3,4 & 5 seats were awful.

Just loaded the LIVE rewards app, and it says both by comps and points expire 05/17/20. What happened to the grace period?

So I decided to take the drive last night. Took me a little over 2.5 hours to get there. I parked in the surface lot even though some of you guys said security wasn’t checking cards. I got there about 8pm. Walked right in, just had to pull my mask down for the temperature check and I was good to go.

I found the table set up to be fine. I was seated in the 5 seat in the game I was in and didn’t see any issues with cramping or anything, it was extremely comfortable.

Dealers were good. Action was great. I had 2 guys at my game who were sitting next to each other that were raising/3betting every pot pre flop extremely light. It created a lot of big pots for 1/3. I played for 4 hours and was card dead most of the night. I won 160 for the night which I’ll gladly take.

My only complaint was that from the 5 seat it was hard to see other players stacks. Maybe it was just the table I was at but it seemed like everyone wanted to keep both of their hands sticking out thru the hole in the plexiglass so it was always covering their chips.

I played a lot this weekend and the staff and dealers have done a great job dealing with the conditions.

It's been nine days since the room reopened. Anyone heard of players or staff testing positive for COVID-19? If there is a spike it will happen between now and the next week or so.

I am debating driving out because I am jonesing but my wife and son are high risk groups and I am 50+ and fat so I have to be careful about these things...
