I got an invitation to an event on Sunday where they are giving away a $25,000 vacation to one of 4 destinations: Aruba, Caba San Lucas, Los Angeles, or Denver.

How does a vacation to Denver cost $25K?

Seriously though - any $25K vacation would need to be uber-top-shelf. So, I'm guessing: height of ski season, an amazing mountain-side chalet with butler/chef service, full first-class transport, lift passes, equipment, etc... I'm sure there's a way to spend $25K about anywhere!

I heard that it was not hit the first week, so the $10K rolled into the second week when it was hit. I did not hear if it got hit yesterday. It does seem to generate some interest, although I don't know enough to compare its popularity against other promotions that have run on Mondays.

1A, 1B and Day 2 of the Main Event will be in the Events Center. All other events will be in the poker room

FYI - If you're looking at the tournament calendar for September online (and probably the prints in house), they changed their weeks showing from Sun-Sat to Mon-Sun. Confused me.

I was wondering. has the room decided what sort of benefits it's going to give next year to platinum and gold members?

I am pretty sure that plenty of people are like me: we may do 500 hours for platinum, but only if the incentive is right.

In the Moneymaker Tournament flyer states:
1 in 8 entries will be in the money. Day 1's conclude once 5% remain"

Is this a Typo? Should it be 15% remain instead of 5%.
Not sure how payouts would work on Day 1's otherwise.

Today, MD Live runs a draw for platinum card members: if your name is drawn, you win $500 of free slot play. It's running from 4 to 9 I think.

My question is this. Do I still have time, or should I have been there before 4? Does anyone know?

Not a typo.

WPT Event 1 used same idea last weekend.

Each Day 1 Flight paid out cash on Day to those that finished in top 12.5%.

Play continued.

Top 5% put chips in a bag and came back for Day 2.

All Day 2 players returned ITM.

How? Math.

Yeah, but then what's the point of having a draw every half an hour. Just do it once and say you have to play your winnings between 9pm and 4am.

I ll probably give it a shot going there. Obviously not going to win anything, so the point will be moot.
