Do you folks think there is a dedicated group of players that support 1/2 and don’t like playing 1/3. So, what would they do? Move to CT?

CT location makes it not a good option for 1/2 die hards.

Is there a reason Hendon wouldn't post the live five results for november? I have multiple cashes from other places that occurred after than one in November that have been posted for a month. Not trying to whine, and I know ML! sporadically submits, but in my brief history of keeping up with it, they don't usually delay posting what they get.

Best,

Stop whining. Send Mike a PM or ask someone at MD Live next time you are there. We can't help you.

And I'm very glad that MLive is switching to 1/3.
I believe it is much healthier for the overall ecology of the room. It will benefit ALL the players and the room.

I think the view/argument that it increases rake by hitting more $10 pots is ridiculous. It should increase revenue by having a healthier player pool and more action at the tables, leading to more tables running.
And you should expect poker rooms to act in the best interests of their bottom line.

Thanks, Mike!
Looking forward to it.
Thank you !!

I don't like to eat with my hands so sandwiches and pizza are out.
We know the food and service needs improving and I'm constantly on the F and B department looking for solutions. And I've told them exactly what you said about the options. When I play poker, I'm not eating anything that needs my hands. If I can't eat it with a fork or spoon, I'm not ordering it. So, stay tuned.

Jason sends the results in about every two weeks. Let me know exactly what's missing, and we'll resend.

Thanks and Happy New Year

Is the 1/3 Nlh 100/400 or 200/500? I know the change stated 100/400 but the bravo lists show 200/500

One would think that when we change buy-ins, the tables or game codes would communicate with the App, but alas, that's not the case

There's probably a fair number of people who want to buy-in for $100 and nit it up for hours at a time. Either playing for the promo dollars or just to kill time away from the wife. If they all stop going because of the change to 1/3 it'll only make the room better.

Do poker hours towards tier status start on Jan. 1?
(The kiosk still says 2017)

I doubt this would happen as the min buy-in is still 100. If one is a promo hunter this should not discourage them.

As we are 3 days into the new table limits, any update on the action factor at 1/3 games? Do you see a change in pot sizes and the associated action?

I can’t wait for the CPPT tomorrow. Also, it is nice to see them not cancelling the promo’s during the tournament series.

Can you give us more details on the Sunday Quad Challenge Promo?

I am very much interested in finding out how I can win 3K!

I'm not Mike, but I did take a picture of the promo sign on the side of the chip cart. Sundays, 11-11, the first 2 quads get $125, the third/4th/5th quads get $250, #6-#8 get $500, #9-#11 get $1,000, #12 gets $1,500 and #13 gets $3,000. It also says that once the board completes, it resets.

I checked with Jason earlier today and he said everything is being resubmitted for December and the 2nd half of November...so it should all be up to date in the next couple of days

This implies that the second person who holds quad 2s gets nothing until the board resets.

don’t really understand why it’s written as it is if you need AAAA to win $3k

at first i thought it just mattered what order in the day/board, not ranking, but on the flyer it says “to win, a player must hit quads that are still on the board”

flyer is here: https://www.marylandlivecasino.com/s...AD%20PROMO.pdf

This is accurate

The flier is accurate. Doesn't matter the order they are made. Quad aces will only pay that if it's the last quad remaining.

Thanks

The staff is doing a great job running Event #1. First class all the way, as always. Very smooth.

Other casinos in the area need to adjust.

Just a random suggestion:
Add a Cashier cage upstairs and/or have the chip runners fill their carts somewhere else and not cut to the front of a (longish)line
