Hey can someone post the number of runners and experience in WPT #1? Last time I played in a circuit event i ended up waiting for a while as an alternate. Will I need to come early to register and play?

Thanks.

There was like 200 runners for the first flight and I walked up at 11:10 and didn't wait at all.

To Mike Smith:

Do tournament hours played count towards the yearly total? I checked my 2017 total hours played at the kiosk before Sunday's $65 wealth builder tournament. I checked them again before playing on Thursday morning and discovered the total had not changed. After playing, my total hours were bumped up due to the Thursday session. Is it normal for tournament hours not to count, or was Sunday a fluke?

I'm playing the 8 max tomorrow and the PLO8 next Saturday.

I'll be the guy spewing chips!
Folks I created a post in the MTTc Live about the Deep Stacks here:

Please share your experiences in the same.

$0.50/hour unless it's been changed.

I don't drink but was playing close to the poker room bar.

I wanted a water but didn't see a waitress so went over to the bar.
the bartender was pouring a drink for someone.

he used that steel drink measuring device, sorta.
he kept pouring the alcohol after he dumped the contents into the drink cup.

just fyi for those that drink...

Some (not all) of the bartenders have a heavy hand. It does make it worth going to the bar yourself for your alcoholic drinks and see if you can strike up a - hey you pour heavy I tip heavy - kinda deal going. At least if you're sitting downstairs.

This is standard for probably 90% of bartenders I've watched pour drinks anywhere. Not just MDL.

This. Except in places that have strict rules about using the jigger only, which is unfortunately becoming more common in casinos. Hopefully this isn't also the rule at Live and the bar/bartenders that is doing players a solid just got outed.

If you log into your MD live account you will see all promotions you are eligible for along with corresponding date info.

Site also displays current comp balance, points/hours earned so far this year and how many needed to maintain current level and to get to next level card.

Just go to the MD live website and look for my reward.

you clearly don't drink because this is standard operating procedure basically everywhere you ever get a drink unless they have that electronic system that measures shots out one-by-one or it's a fancy cocktail bar that's doing everything with a ratio to make the flavors right. If you go to any bar and order a rum and coke, bartender that uses a jigger puts the jigger over the glass, fills it, and continues to pour a bit as he dumps it.

There are few things I enjoy more on the internet than seeing someone who equates his/her extremely limited experience with indisputable fact. So amusing.

I've had drinks in just about every place you could imagine, from dives to Michelin star restaurants, domestic to international, and in my experience it's exceedingly rare to see jiggers or electronic systems measuring shots in use. I'm talking less than 10% of the time. So your experience might not be typical.

The TV behind table 1 has been replaced with a very nice large screen TV. Someone said he had heard it was 79 inches. Whatever it is, it looks great.
