Mike, put me on that list! I actually have 2 other friends who play 4/8 all the time, would never consider 20/40, but like jumping up to 10/20 when available.

Any updates from the PNIA $1650 Main Event? I can't find any?

Bravo currently says one table of 4/8 Big O 8 is running. Is that correct or an error?

Looks like this is going to attract a small field, 200 entries or less? Im guessing

Cuz there's no guarantee offered or stated. The other events have guarantees, odd that this first PNIA main event at ML isn't a guarantee.

There's no room for a big tourney so why would they want to have one

It was correct, at least according to the desk when I called to ask them last night.

Although that conversation was pretty comical:

Me: "Hey, Bravo lists a 4/8 Big O8, is that really going at fixed limit?"
Desk: "Yes, it is high only."
Me: "Wait... it says O8, are you sure it's hi only?"
Desk: "Oh... oh yeah, it's high-low, pot limit."
Me: "Wait... they're using 4 and 8 blinds on pot limit, are you sure?"
Desk: "Let me check... <hold>"
Desk: "Oh yeah, it's fixed limit, high-low."
Me: "Thank you."

I essentially told him what game was going... I probably should have asked him to walk over and verify they were getting 5-cards each. He did say it was 8 handed which would point to real Big-O8.

Then they shouldn't have offered this event in the first place, let alone a multiday entry. They basically made it only worthwhile for satellite winners. No tv coverage, no guarantee, no celebrities - what was the point of PNIA branding??

Bravo says "filmed TV final table" for the $565 and $1650

Lol I pretty much had the same conversation with probably the same person. I was hoping that somebody might have been there to actually see for themselves. But thanks for the reply!

5/10 table?

5/10 isn't jackpot game, so I guess it was 2/5.

Video looks fake. 5/10 is a time rake so no, it was not at a 5/10 table

I was at the table next to it when it happened. It was a 1/2 table. The video must be a re-enactment.
