Maybe if you put a lil thought into it you'd realize he means he trust valet more than other drivers at the casino not himself

Thats how I took it - and still think its nuts. You're trusting a random valet parker who's never driven your car - who still has to drive/park/deal with other lot traffic as well as other valets parking in the lot.

Meh, no thanks.

Who is going to let other drivers at the casino drive his car?

Maybe if you had put a little bit more thought into it, EatMyDitka,...

Apparently, dcmidnight understood my perspective:

Are late night high hands 3-10 a.m. as indicated on MDL website or 3-9 a.m. as indicated on bravo?

Can Maryland Live be reached by public transit from DC? If so, how?

Thanks!

Yes. The Trip Planner at wmata.com will tell you how.

For the "From" blank enter your address. For the "To" blank enter 7002 Arundel Mills Cir, which is the address for Maryland Live. That will work; I just re-verified.

Bravo says that $10/20 limit is $5 rake and $1 jackpot drop. Does that mean it's eligible for the hours earned for the Sunday drawings and bad beat jackpots?

Yes.

Yikes, almost 3 hours? Is that really the quickest way by public transit?

Quickest way is to take a Marc or Amtrak train from union station to BWI. Then take the shrt four mile cab ride to the casino (cabs are waiting there and I believe usually at casino as well). There is a bus to the casino from there as well but have no idea how that works. Or just rent a car and drive from DC and back.

FWIW, I had a young chick ask me for money "in order to get home" or something like that as I got into my car the other day.

I politely declined and drove away, but that could also be a sign of a far more dangerous scam.

If there so happens to be someone that also goes so far out of their way to follow me - it would be easy to see.

OK that may definitely sound paranoid...
dont be too cheap to pay $5 for valet

I've never had a problem with the valet at Live and my vehicle other than a little confusion sometimes because my SUV is a hybrid and if you've never driven a hybrid before, the engine surprises you.

I'd rather pay $5 for valet than worry about someone coming after you in the garage or following you home - which is what I was talking about WRT paranoia. (Although I mainly park in the valet so I don't have to remember where I parked. I'm not a huge fan of Live's garage)

According to MTA's website, the Penn Line connecting DC Union Station and BWI runs only Monday-Friday. But if someone else has more recent info than the 2014 schedule I saw on the site, please post it.

On the weekend, it looks like if you're not willing to shell out for Uber (~$30-$60 from DC), then the WMATA route is your best bet.

You could take Amtrak instead of Marc. That runs every day.

I looked it up just now because I was curious and it looks like the cheapest you could get to BWI from Union Station in DC at an hour that isn't super-early is $22. At that point, it would make sense to just take an Uber.

I was there yesterday. I did not like the color of the tables and the lighting. Its dark red or something and there is no border lines. We don't know when the player puts the chips in phases or one time since there is no line.It makes the appearance so dull and I did not feel like playing. compared to the tables in Hollywood casino, WV , they are not lively. After playing couple of hours I feel like my eyes getting tired. I was there between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Did anybody observe this?

Mike,

Can you comment on the reason for the 1$ delivery fee on food that has recently been added. This just to seems like MDL is trying to nickel some extra money out of us for food that is already on the upper limits for basic food. I am saying this because you dont pay a delivery fee for food at a restaurant. Now I know this isnt a restaurant and we can go pick it up, which is good we all need some exercise, and save the money. But this new fee just seems like a very petty way of getting some more money out of the poker plays in my opinion.

Mike,
I had a high hand on the board tonight for quad 3s with Ace kicker, the time rolled over for the next high hand and the announcer said congratulations to the previous high hand winner and called out my hand. I was obviously very excited that my hand hold out.
Unfortunately, within a moment the announcer said the previous high hand winner actually was Quad 9s. I understand mistakes can happen, but once you announce it, it should be final and binding. You can't just say oops we made a mistake. It isn't fair to the player.

So if you had quad 9s in this situation, what would you expect to happen?
