Poker hrs to gold not sure how it caculated. Here is the card benefits charts and looks like to be gold member you need at least 20 K points.

looks like the 2/2 PLO is hot with 2 tables running and 7 on the waitlist. I gotta try it this Sat.

Very impressive 21 tables opened at ML before 2 PM on a Monday. Congratulations to Mike and his staff for the obviously successful start to the room. Mike's communicative management style is a refreshing change from what the B&M's poker forums have evolved to in the 2 plus 2 community. Way to show em.

In addition, the car race in downtown Balt is this weekend, which is historically pretty darn dead (at least in downtown Baltimore). Everyone confirmed at beach, but should still be kinda busy.

I'm no expert in leather but it seems more than nice enough, whatever it is. Room was warm this morning but is getting chillier as they crank the ac as the room fills. I'd bring a jacket.

The outdoor North Main entrance is the closest.

Wonder if they have the $1 chip at the 2/2 PLO?

I would assume today's numbers are not a real representation as it was a guaranteed showing by invitation. I couldn't imagine a 3 hour wait list given their room size and obvious excellent customer service thus far. Though I am sure they won't complain if they are collecting max rake and have all tables in use.

I was also under the impression from previous posts that the levels split cash vs tournament. I assume they can always change it up as needed assuming high need for cash games and no active tournament.

Is everyone on the same level today? And by level I am referring to geographical location.

I think there is only 1 garage.

The blue $2 and green $25 are quite difficult to distinguish when next to each other. Parx has a similar issue. Would be good to minimize $2 in NL/PLO, even the $2/$2 PLO imo.

Today several players bought into $2/$2 with all blue, not sure if the cage was doing this on purpose or not though.

There really isn't that lomg of walk from any entrance. The place is just a giant rectangle with two main entrances.

I think is a lot safer to park outdoor at the North main entrance then on the 4 floor inside the garage.

Marc is a good solution for mid-week daytime. Unfortunately I have a job which renders that useless. Amtrak runs on the weekend, looks like the cheapest option is $15 for one way. Both go to BWI and you take a bus from there. Trip is between 1:15-2hrs

I've got two othernight 2p2-ers who I'm looking to carpool with in the near future, PM me if you live in DC and would be interested in getting in on it.

Sent from my DROIDX using 2+2 Forums
Amtrak is great idea, usually it's expensive, MARC train is around $6 one way AFAIK

Mike,

Will you be closing up @ 5pm today? I want to come by but don't wanna get stuck on 495 in the middle of rush hour. I don't wanna go to CT today. I'm interested in playing 2/5, 5/10, or 10/25 if it goes.

Thanks

Can anyone confirm they are allowing tablets? The website says no laptops allowed.

As a participating player in today's soft open, I can assure all local poker players that your prayers have been answered! Mike and his staff have done a superior job. And, if you play in other local casinos, you will recognize most of the dealers here; I saw no inexperience problems.

If I interpret the thread postings correctly, there will be an official "first table dealt to" filled with lucky select individuals on Wednesday. (I received neither confirmation of soft-opening invite nor invitation to the first table dealt.) Beyond that, it should be open like normal.
