AWESOME news... I (along with any AT&T customer at MD Live) will need wifi to survive with the service issues.
Question, however: Was it as simple as clicking on wifi and jumping right in?
Or is this a log in, password, pay-for-service type of deal?

Anyone have any suggestions for the quickest route from the east side of Baltimore? Tried two different ways so far and both were brutal with traffic.

I jumped right in. No password needed.

When I signed up I had to get chips at the cage. Was told there are chip runners but initial buy in is at the cage. Seemingly three windows at the cage but they are pretty slow. Otherwise impressed with our first dealer, amenities, wifi, bar etc.

Google Maps has a feature which allows you to see how to get somewhere with public transportation. On the top of the screen there are 4 icons - push the one that looks like a bus and it will give you a variety of options by using public transportation including buses, Metro and MARC.

Google maps doesn't know much, like many shuttles ans special routes.

The music is horrible. It's a bunch of 50s bubble gum music and is way to loud.

Look into taking Marc train to BWI and see if md live has a shuttle that runs there.

You can't drive zipcar intoxicated just as well. Plus you have to return it to same location so you pay while it sits in the casino garage.

When I did it, it gave me 3 different routes: one with bus and MARC, one with Metro, MARC and bus and one with just bus. At least give it a try

How odd? I just sent the same text to the GM.

We'll work on it

Thanks

Zipcar runs about $14/hr so not that great. I'm pretty sure rental cars from nova end up cheaper if you plan to be out for >3 hrs and split with someone.

Marc is a good solution for mid-week daytime. Unfortunately I have a job which renders that useless. Amtrak runs on the weekend, looks like the cheapest option is $15 for one way. Both go to BWI and you take a bus from there. Trip is between 1:15-2hrs

I've got two othernight 2p2-ers who I'm looking to carpool with in the near future, PM me if you live in DC and would be interested in getting in on it.

Got an invite for 1 pm and will be there a little after 3 - work calls. Will they still allow people in that late?

Soft opening and according to Bravo, ML has almost as many tables (15) as Charlestown (9), Perryville (3)and DP (4 Cash) combined. More than Parx (14) or the Borgata (11).

"East Baltimore" is broad, but if you're close/convenient to 70, 70-->29-->100.

Otherwise, 95S-->100.

This assumes by East Baltimore you mean near the edge of town/Catonsville/etc.

If you're actually IN the city there may be other options. I used to work near Turf Valley, and getting mid-city was always a pain. All ways are similar.

Great start. I think the waitlist this weekend could be 3 hours just like Chuck when it first opened. The plus here is that Mike is doing everything right upfront and being so informative and in the long run would yield great results. All we need now is the 100K guaranteed tourney for the Sat. series and there's no need to go anywhere else except MDlive.
