Are they going to call you on cell phone?

12:40 pm - 14 tables are up and running, with lists for everything. Looks like Omaha8 4/8 and 8/16 will be starting soon.

10/25 NL has 7 on a rapidly growing list. Should be going soon as well.

5/10 NL is already going, with a list growing for a second table. 2/5NL is doing well.

A 4/8 Limit Hold 'em game is going, with a list.

The room is booming!

Will all the tables be used for cash games today, or will 28 be the limit?

My belief is that they will fill the room with all cash throughout the weekend. This is why Mike stated no tournaments during the opening weekend.

I was just reading an article on Bsun and they estimated about 500 people that were in line and Mike is expecting about 1000 people today.

I think Mike had stated the Sunday $300 tourney would run and they would reserve a table just in case there is enough interest for the Aruba satellite.

I'm in line. I counted as I walked to the back of the line. I think I am approximately number 298.

Thanks on the update, Dave. Based on your count of ~300 in line currently and what Bravo is reporting currently seated, (22 tables) they will easily fill the room today.

One thing that sucks so far...terrible cell coverage and ZERO wifi outside the poker room...at least in line.

It's probably too many phones/devices and not enough towers to support it. Expect that to be an ongoing issue until it thins out some.

Its not a #users issue. There's always a terrible cell signal. And the wifi is specifically for the poker room and had a short range.

How many are behind you? J/K. I think I've heard enough to stay away today.

Should those of us leaving soon hurry and wait in line or wait til it calms down. One hour wait I could handle. Don't want to drive up to not play tho

unless the poker room walls are shielded so that wifi doesnt escape?

wifi is normally ~300feet range including 1 set of double drywall

I saw Bravo posting that 10-25 NL was running earlier. Your post prompted me to recheck and I saw it is not currently running. Anyone know what's up?

Did 10-25 NL open, or not?

Is it running, or not?

If it opened and closed an hour later - what happened - as I see 7 people on the waiting list for it so it seems there would have been enough interest to keep the table running....

About 80 back right now. People are getting cranky, and I'm in the front half by a lot. They moved the back of the line to right in front of the room awhile ago with no explanation, which was a total tease until we figured out what was going on. There's ~50-60 left in the original line, with a very grumpy casino employee anchoring it. There are still some people cutting in under the guise of using the bathroom.

Just talked with a guy in line, says there are only 5 people on 15/30 list. Dealers ARE at every table but, all tables not going yet. He estimates line at 250. They need more chip runners. Maybe THIS weekend will be a tad unorganized. Best of luck, Mike

Can anyone give an estimate of how fast the line is moving? I think myself and others are wondering if its worth coming or not.

Also, is waiting in line necessary? If you get on the list, can you leave, go shop, eat, etc. and get back in line in the same spot?

Looks like it broke but should be starting up again

Don't get cranky, I can bring you a bottle of water.

Yes we are short chip runners, but working on it.

Thanks

According to Bravo, the 4-8 7 Card Stud game is now running with 4 people on the wait list.

There are 11 people on the 10-25 NL list. I did see the game listed as running before but not sure what happened.

38 total tables on Bravo in play.

Had to concede defeat and come home.

Gave myself three hours, over 2 hours in line and probably still at least 30 minutes to go, I bailed. Sadly, poker doesn't pay the bills.

No ill will here, a little disappointed but still glad I tried and was at least able to see MDL for the first time.

Did indeed run briefly for about a half hour. Started short and broke quickly. Then the list filled up again but nobody actually wanted to switch, so it died off. May not truly get off the ground today.
