Pot must be $10 to be BBJ eligible and must be 4 players dealt into the hand.

PROMOTIONS
$500 for Royal Flush and $100 for other players dealt into the hand.
For Jackpots and Promotional giveaways, you get tax paperwork on anything $600 and over.

VARIOUS RULES
There is no betting line.
A bet plus half again is a raise.
Substantial action in CASH games is 3 players acting or 2 players putting money in the pot.
When hand is down to 2 players, those players can talk and/or turn over cards.
UTG straddles only and it's double the BB except $5 on the $1/$2 games and $25 on $5/$10 games.
Running it twice is allowed in time raked/non jackpot eligible games.
Four raise max in limit games.
New players do not have to post.
At showdown, players do not have the right to see mucked cards from losing hands. Winning hands at showdown can be seen upon player request.

Currently sitting at 4/8 O8 waiting for more players. Floor said they may accept non-invites after the 1pm seating is complete if space is available. Also sounds like they intend to wrap up around 5pm.

HOWEVER, the floor was uncertain if they would kick out 9am-ers for 1pm-ers. Hey said they might to ensure all invitees get a seat.

If they need more players to start the 4/8 O8 game I might be able to slide up earlier. Let me know if this is possible. I'm slated for 1 pm and I'm definitely wanting to play 4/8 O8.

O8 with hall kill is going 7-handed, and word is that since they're not full they will allow others in. This is unofficial (i.e. the guy at our table who didnt have an invite is playing!) I suspect the 1pm crowd will make that much less likely the closer that time gets, as they won't want to risk crowding any invitees out.

And now official word from the floor: 1pm invitees are welcome early as long as space available. I see no less than 8 dealers at empty tables, so is say space is available right now.

Everything seems to be running pretty smooth, especially for a day zero.
4 out 5 dealers i've had, had prior experience and were completely fine. The other guy was alright for his first day.

I am really excited to play at Live on Friday! Thanks for answering all of the questions in the other thread. One more that I didn't see (but maybe I missed it?). Will you offer rake reductions for short-handed games? If so, how many players and what is the change?

Yes, that was answered previously - there is reduced rake at 6 players. Mike did not specify what it is reduced to.

That answer is in our FAQ, in the first post of this thread ... darn, I put it under various rules instead of under the rake section. Oh well.
