Came to support the new tournament format “Tag Team Switch”.

Unlike the traditional tag team where the players switch when they want and play with a single stack, at Live both the players play with two starting stacks and the floor randomly decides the switch. Only on the final table both the stacks will be combined and the players switch when called.

Kudos to Live for finding new formats to run. I am glad I have come to support it.

I have been a gold card holder since the poker room opened, my birthday also was in June, and I received ABSOLUTELY NOTHING this year. Next year, my card will be red.

Ditto, especially the part about headed down to Red. There's been no incentive to keep me coming back - it's silly, but the little extra $ encouraged many last-minute visits (and 3-4 hours in the room) and kept me over 100 hrs/year as a pure (non-retired) rec.

So, I guess someone decided the ROI on the ~$300 or so of actual benefit I was getting on the slot play wasn't worth the extra ~60 hours of play I was giving the room in a given year.

Odd because I'm pretty certain my rake gets them much more than $5/hr, even at the worst of tables in earnings. Heck, I KNOW the PLO game was getting $10/hr without fail, and I probably played that the most.

whenever im at the casino, i check the kiosk for promos.
thats when i saw the $150 comp to Prime Rib but interestingly enough, it showed up a month BEFORE my bday.

Also, the restaurant has gone downhill slightly.
i had reservations and came at the correct time. the hostess said to wait a few min. they'll going to find a table for us.
WTF? find a table? I had reservations...

The hostess sat us at a table and told us the waiter's name. it was a foreign sounding name.
After 10min of no waiter, i complained to someone in charge.

a waiter showed up 30sec later. it was the waiter for the table next to us.
his name was Nick. it definitely was nowhere close to the name the hostess gave us.

Nick was great but everything else was off.
the bread came AFTER the appetizers were almost done.
apparently the hostess sat us a table with no waiter assigned.

Looking at the December 2019 Tournament Schedule posted on the Maryland LIVE website, tournaments are color-coded bright yellow, dull yellow, dull blue and dark blue. What is the significance of these colors? There is no legend explaining the choice of colors.

Dull yellow = Satellite
Dark blue - Freeze out week (no re-entry)
Bright yellow - can't figure this one out
Dull blue - Everything else

Has anyone stayed at the hotel or at lofts? Is it possible to get comped or discounted rooms from poker play? I would think it would be easy during the week, but costs are high online.

New to 2 plus 2 and wanted to say hello BTW from the Eastern shore and travel to live regularly when I play.

Will be down to donk it up Friday thru noon Saturday for some 4/8. Hopefully some fun drawings or other Nonsense for fun going on. Will try to remember to wear spartan shirts. Say hi if you see me. (Pretty standard Middle aged pasty white guy).

Construction on the garage side entrance is almost complete.
The new concert hall above that side entrance will replace current (small) music venue.
That small music venue will be converted to their sports book, once the state legalizes it

Hmm.. my tier points reset back to 0 despite the expiration date on the card being end of Feb 2020.
Thought tier multiplier promo this month was to help people get/maintain tier for 2019.

Apparently it's to get a head start for 2020.

Dumb question. Where is tourney registration and location for the various MD State champ events? Been years since I've played tournaments here.
