Can anyone advise what the $1/3 wait has typically been like Friday/Saturday nights? Thanks in advance,

Played yesterday (Sat) from 10-6. Walked in at 10am to a table. By noon there was a pretty solid list, but they worked through it as tournament tables opened up. When I left around 5:30, there wasn't much of a list. Less than 10 names.

May be because of the incoming weather and the big tournament going on that there was less cash going on, because there have definitely been times where it's been a solid 50-80 names on the list.

Thanks. I actually took the chance and went up Friday/Saturday. Jumped in a game Friday night around 10:00 pm - no wait. Saturday, decided to play around 2:00 pm..... about 30 on the list, which took 20 minutes or so. Played 3 hours, and went and got dinner and drinks. Jumped back into a game around 7:00, again with no wait.

P.S. The new hotel is really nice. And reasonably priced (particularly compared to MGM). Fun place to spend a weekend. Only downside (for me, at least) is that they appear to have eliminated much of the fun video poker since my last trip several years ago. Gone is the bank of hundred hand machines; they've also eliminated all of the bar-top multi-hand machines. And, all of the 10-handed games appeared to be 25cent minimum. Would be nice to at least have some 5 cent machines . . . . Guess you can't have it all.

I am neutral on inaugural MSPC series. Was not really anything that made it special versus other daily tournaments. The battery pack was OK, but no food, no blog spot, or anything else that gave it an extra special vibe. No points race -- just a bunch of regular trnys strung together.

Did you check the ones outside in that new smoking area? Those ones had the best pay outs last time I played but you had to play $1 minimum to get the best payouts.

The Friday/Saturday promo for February says hot seats "up to" $500 every 15 minutes. Can someone explain what determines the amount awarded?

They alternate it based on the time of day. I don't know the exact hours for all days, but today it was set up something like this....

11AM-1PM Seat chosen got $250, seats to either side got $100
1PM- 4PM Seat chosen got $500, no one else got anything
4PM-7PM Seat chosen got $250, seats to either side got $100
7PM- Midnight? Seat chosen got $500. no one else got anything

I have no idea why they are flipping back and forth between the two of them, since the money isn't much different.

Friday/Saturday
11:00AM - 1:00PM | $250 / $100
1:15PM - 4:00PM | $500
4:15PM - 7:00PM | $250 / $100
7:15PM - 10:00PM | $500
10:15PM - 12:00AM | $250 / $100

Sunday
11:00AM - 1:00PM | $200 / $50
1:15PM - 4:00PM | $300
4:15PM - 7:00PM | $200 / $50
7:15PM - 10:00PM | $300
10:15PM - 12:00AM | $200 / $50

Here's the flyer.

As noted above, $500/$300 times are single seat. $100/$50 are paid to seats left and right of the player.

Doesn't seem like this promo draws as many people as the high hands do and the dealers aren't as excited about it (since they likely aren't getting a tip on the seat vs high hand). Also there's a lot of skepticism from players about the randomizer when it draws the same table 3 out of 4 pulls. Every table I've been at this month has made a comment about it, even had a dealer voice the same.

Anyone hear what's replacing the Streak and the yearly bonus for maintaining tier level?

Maybe that promo flyer I saw about $1 to $1 comps for Jade and above was for next year?
Comps for Bobby's is still$1 to $1 for Platinum.
Anyone know if Bobby's rewards works if using comps?

Live’s web site says Live Size tourney was last week, twitter says this week through Monday and Poker Atlas says it ends Sunday. Is there an accurate Structure sheet available?

The tournament calendar on the Live! Website is correct. Day 1 flights Friday (2/15) and Saturday (2/16) at 11:15a and 6:15p and Sunday (2/17) at 11:15a. Day 2 is Monday (2/18) at 11:15a.

Thanks for the confirmation. What I see on their web site when I search is a flyer for last weekend.

I've heard *crickets*... at least the streak kept me coming in weekly for the bonus (which meant I stayed Gold... trailing in hours this year so far with no incentive to post.)

Anybody know what they are building by the garage entrance (the construction overlooked by the smoking patio in the poker room)?

Comcast is having multiple problems causing us multiple problems. Phones and wifi spotty, Bravo down, internal email spotty. But hey, they're working on it.
