Could be invite-only like the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight.

Seriously though, probably just means no fans in the stadium. That's not unprecedented in sports. The Hungarian national soccer team has played to mandated empty stadiums at least once but possibly twice in the past year or so. Usually it's meant as a punishment of the team's fans, but I doubt that's the rationale here.

i don't think that's a reason to have "free TVs" day, but i think there are instances where going past peaceful protests would be justified.
Do you think the baltimore calamity was justified by the reasons you presented in your first sentence?

Of course he does. I don't think he would have said anything if he didn't think that.

A is more important than B, right?
What do the store owners trying to make ends meet have to do with Freddie Gray? Stop please.

mdl:
10% up to $5 + $1 bad beat jackpot. (no bbj drop for plo.)
no flop, no rake drop-> if u win preflop, there's no rake
1/2 rake at 6 players or less
5/5 plo and above is timed and you can run it twice. don't know about other games.

horseshoe:
5% up to $6 + $1 bad beat jackpot. (no bbj drop for plo)
no flop, no rake drop. (I think. don't remember.)
1/2 rake at 6players or less. $1 rake if 3 (4?) players or less.
dont know about timed games. i never see anything above 2/5 nl, 3/6 limit, or 2/2 plo. (I've heard about a 7.50/15 pink chip HORSE game but never seen it the few times I've been there.)

Thanks for that take structure AA!

Do special games run certain days of the week? Bigger LHE days, or PLO games run on certain days more than others? Thanks for any info.

50/100 LHE runs pretty much every fri starting at noon oftentimes with a must move and usually runs pretty late into sat morning. It also runs most tuesday evenings. The 20/40 or 30/60 LHE games run pretty frequently but I'm not sure when. Those are at MDL. The shoe is mainly 1/3, 2/5 and 2/2 plo but they do occasionally get a fun 7.50/15 (pink chip mixed game) going.

This may be a long shot.

Mrsdeadfish and I are looking to rent a place in the Baltimore or southern MD area. Basically anywhere nearby the horseshoe and/or MDL.

We have an american bulldog, will get dog liability insurance if required.

We don't need much space and are very easy to please.

PM if you have a rental property or know of someone who may.

Any advice or suggestions greatly appreciated

Could anyone recommend any reasonably priced places within a half hour or so of MD Live with short term leases?

Leases with 60 days notice & no penalty seemed common when I was shopping around. What's your budget? Gotta pay significantly to live in a safer area if that's a consideration of yours.

There are many apartment complexes in Glen Burnie, Annapolis, etc that should have 6 month leases available, sort-of reasonably priced. Check CL.

Lots of military, kids-just-out-on-their-own, and

Passing through BWI on Tuesday. I will be there around noon and do not leave again until 2 am so might as well kill time playing some cards. So Maryland Live or Horseshoe? Gonna have $200 to play so which casino would offer the best bang for the buck? Which is closer to the airport? Which would have the best action on a Tuesday afternoon to evening?

MDL will have more games going overall I think. They also have the 500 high hand every 20 min promo going.

Thanks for the recommendation. Spent about 5 hours playing 4/8. Wish I played NL looking back on it. You could not bet anybody off their hands or make decent value plays because nobody was folding. I loosened up pre flop and if I did not connect solidly I got out. If I did I got all the bets I could in. Ended up $23. Thinking about quitting my day job hahaha. But it was fun. The high hand promotion was pretty solid. Guy at the table next to mine hit a royal at the last second of the last round it was running this morning. So he got $500 high hand and $500 for the royal.

I learned match race tactics by downloading the races with commentary. They are available on the net. the around the world race allows you to actually compete if you want, with about 100000 other computer bound racers. There is a wealth of information available.

There are several levels of standard certification if you want to go that route sponsored by the standard certification people.

There I managed to get all of it down, without mentioning any links. So, go find the web pages, and then go sailing.
There are two, not one posts from April 18th on this subject. Read both, pm me prn.

The sole purpose of this post is to let those who came from points north, east and west, to work in the Poker Industry that we have the best sailing in the world, and frankly, boat owners are always looking for willing crew.

Realistically, you could wind up sailing on every off day, or at the end of other work days. For those who are athletic and driven to succeed, you could wind up as professional crew sailing around the world. That is not easy to do, but well, sailing in the bay is more than enough.

Note, you may have seen a post about this. It was taken down because I posted links. So you will have to find the links on your own.

In order to find boats that are looking for crew google: crew listings Annapolis sailing

In order to find the parties that assign crew to boats DO NOT DELAY, and google crew listings party Annapolis sailing.

There are a number of links to each category.

Regarding learning sailing terms and knots. Google basic keelboat sailing for information on that.
Regarding knots, google basic sailing knots for that information. You need to know the top four or five knots.

I put no links into this post, however, with the terms I posted above, you will find more than one of each in each category.

There are sailing schools as well. There are many good ones.

There is another way to become crew on a boat, just go down to the docks after researching the schedules. That usually works as a matter of fact.

Now, when you show up, you can know nothing, and be used for your weight, moving from one side of the boat to the other. However, it would be better to show up after memorizing the basic keel boat instruction pdf or book and the five basic sailing knots for sailboats.

This post grew out of a conversation I had with a poker dealer from NJ who had no idea she could go sailing for free.

It's free, and after the races, there are almost always excellent parties. What more could you want?

If you have any questions, I've sailed for 27 years now, so I can answer them all.

oh yes, there is currently an around the world sailboat race going on. If you google ocean sailboat racing you will find that.

And this one, keeping in mind that some of it is now out of date
