Here is a repost from a all Florida thread. I thought I would create this thread here to be more for locals in South Florida.

Details?

1) What is house fee in this $35 buy-in?
2) How much starting chips (dealer add on), length of the levels, starting structure & etc..

Glad to see this but hope this creates interest in cash games and then higher buy-in tourneys!

Speaking of cash HORSE games, why not try to get going a spread unstructured HORSE game like $2-$10? When I was there we tried to get a $5-$10 structured HORSE game going but IMHO in a unstructured game we might find more interest and is more exciting creating more action! The antes/blinds can be worked out but $1/2 blinds on the flop games & $1 or $4 (8 or 9 players) button ante sounds about right.

Teddy
PS - I'm going to create a "Mardi Gras" thread here and let you know the link. It's unfair IMHO to clog up this thread with local 1 casino questions.

Nice job Teddy, maybe we can get the Omaha8 game going there 8/16 with a HK.
remember a month ago everyone was asking the state to approve all these game, but when they go out they only know how to ask for NLH.

I am going to stop in later today, I don't know if I am going to play long I came down with a summer time cold so I am a bit out of it.

I would play a mixed game format but would like to see only 1 stud game, maybe 2 rounds of Omaha. You have a advantage with 2 stud.

I'd much rather play 8/16 in Om8 then 10/20 but unless it's a regular day after day game, Mardi Gras is too far for me, I live in Deerfield Beach. Does there $2/5 spread Om8 game get off every day?

We want to be more aggressive with tournaments, including a $15K guarantee every Sun starting Aug 15. If we can get the Sun event going string, we will add more large guarantees.

That HOSE tournament should be fun.

Everyday without fail. Sometimes 2 games. The guests like the $50 bonus for four tens or better.

I was told by other players that only $1 was taken out for the jackpot for Om8 games. That was not the case when I got to the table, Dealer said, "they just changed it to $2 today...". Since Om8 games do not ever have a large $500 or $1000 high hand payout, why so much for the jackpot?

Will, any way you can get the structures for these tourneys posted to your website? I stopped by the room today and none were available in-house, either.

In the SAT tourney:
Just 1 rebuy for $20?
How many chips are needed for rebuy(s)?
At what level is the addon?
Can a player buyin at the addon?
If player can buyin at the addon, can they also rebuy b4 they addon?

In the "Lucky 7" MON tourney:
Is it limit or NL?

Posting of the structures (for all tourneys) as per previous post on your website would be cool as well !

TIA,
Teddy

My car AC is out and it needs other work. I would like to come next week to Mardi Gras on Thurs, Fri & Sat (12+ hours likely each day). Then the following week (all week) starting on Mon.

I'm willing to pay gas money to someone (transportation w/AC) who lives near me in Deerfield Bch to pick me up each day and take me back each night. Anybody? I'm just west of I95 in between SW 10th St to the north about 1 mile & Sample Rd to the south about 1 mile.

Alternately, I can take the TriRail & cab to Mardi Gras but it would be a hassle, especially late at night if I want to stay after the last train leaves.

Teddy

Fixed, the PLO is on Friday at 12:30 August Calendar

The HOSE tournament sounds good, it will also introduce a bunch of players to games they want to play.

It was $1, but we had to stop giving $50 for quad 10's because the bbj was decreasing. So, we reduced the payout to $25. The Omaha players actually ASKED me to start taking $2 and resume the $50 giveaway. I was pretty surprised by that.

I will get them out this week. Pretty friendly structures, especially the $15K.

I think so too. It's a low enough to attract a lot of players that may be unfamiliar with the game.

If it is successful, we may offer one in the evening as well. We tried to structure our events around other established events in the market.

Not the most techy way to do it, but all structures were posted on Facebook as pictures: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?ai...d=155022637741

They should be available on our website tomorrow as PDF and hard copies are in transit from the printer.

Anyone want to try to get a low limit mixed game going sometime this week? I have been looking to play mixed game cash but at a low level because I'm not good at most of the games. 2/5, 5/10 or 8/16 at the most? Just kinda looking for some variety and it might be fun to throw some chips around with some of you guys. I think we could get enough people there to start the game and see how it went. Anyone around a day this week? Wednesday or Thursday night?

HOSE or HORSE even a game with 2-7 in it?

Haven't played Stud or Stud hi/low in years.

Wil can that be arranged if we get a few guys up there? How many would we need to start a game?

Structure in PDF shows both "end of round 4" and "end of round 5: before start of round 6"

At what level is the addon? End of round 4

"end of round 4" or "end of round 5: before start of round 6"?

You tell us what limit you guys want to play and we will spread it. We can start with 5 or 6. Teddy suggested a $2-$10. If it makes it easier to get the game, we can offer $2-$5. Just let me know so I can make a plaque for the table.

We mixed up the info on the flyer. Should be 5 rounds of re-buys and then add-on before round 6. I will get that fixed.

I'll be here! Get that AC fixed Teddy so you can play in the inaugural event!

Structures are on the website now as well. Will get the incorrect one addressed: http://www.playbigeasypoker.com/tournamentstrucure.pdf

I'm not going to fix my car AC (or other major repairs that is needed like brakes) since to fix it would cost more than the car is worth. I hope to get a new car in a few months.

I'll try and make it tomorrow, but I'm in the process of starting a computer "A+" certification class and the organizers of the class have scheduled me for a stupid assessment class tomorrow from 1pm-4:30pm. I'm trying to get out of it or to have it rescheduled.

Who would be interested in playing the following game on a regular basis?

"Triple Draw Crazy HORSE" $5-$25* (increments of 5) any time spread (unstructured)

Games:
  1. 2-7 Triple Draw
  2. Crazy Pineapple (or Tahoe) - (maybe add mandatory straddle like 1/2/5 blinds?)
  3. H.O.R.S.E. (On flop games maybe add mandatory straddle like 1/2/5 blinds?)
clipped
*$2-$5 or maybe $2-$10 instead of $5-$25?

What plaques should Wil make up?

Maybe we should start with $2-$5 with a optional river bet of $2-$10. Once we get the game going on a regular basis we can add more games or increase the stakes.

I have a 50+ email list from Allen Green of Om8 tourney players (and some other contacts I obtained) who may be interested in these mixed cash games too! I'll try and contact all of them soon.

I hope to be there tomorrow for the HOSE tournament. After the tournament I'll play a cash game of HORSE or any mixed cash games! Let's make it $2-$5 unstructured and river bet of $2-$10 unstructured.
