how is this place haven't played here in a long time prolly before the shoe put there poker room in. Do they have a bad beat and such thanks

Seems like the player pool is shrinking consistently. When I go in there the only thing running is 1 or 2 NL 200 tables.

How is this place on the weekends? Looking to try another room besides the shoe

Haven't played there in 3 months, but the 1-2 NL games are good. I like that you can buy in max $300. I think the shoe is $200 max.

Bad beat is aces full of kings as the qualifier.

Saturdays are great.

1/2 NLHE at least one table in the morning, up to three/four in the evening. Max BI is 300.
1-5 STUD starts early and runs all day, sometimes two tables.
5/10 O8 starts in the late afternoon, great game.

Action is loose on all games. Room is really well run (imho).

Also $35 NLHE tournament at noon, and a $150 tourn at 7:00pm.

How many players do they typically get for the Saturday night $150, and Sunday $200 tournaments?

Saturday night is usually <20; noon is usually 40-50. Not sure on Sunday's, as I am never there. But given that the shoe runs a 210 at the same time, can't imagine it would be more than 20 runners. But just speculating.

Yes. They aren't on Bravo, but they are on PokerAtlas' rival app.

Typically:
1-3 tables of 1/2 NLHE (300max) during the week (plus small tournaments)
1-2 tables of 1-5 Stud on Saturdays
1 table of 5/10 O8 w/ Kill Saturday afternoons/evenings

They still get O8 on Saturdays? I haven't been there in a long time, primarily because I heard the players were all over at Horseshoe.

Yes, it just depends on who shows up and when. Sometimes it will start at 3pm, sometimes 8pm, sometimes it doesn't run.

Full disclosure to start: I'm Nick, the Poker Manager at Majestic. But I saw no one answered some questions so I will do my best to go back a bit and address some questions some folks have had.

For Fall Bash, $400 Main Event, Flight A: 31 entries; Flight B: 45; Flight C: 52. Total 128, $46,080 prize pool.

Omaha/8 typically starts around 4-5pm each Saturday. On occasional weekends it might not go for seemingly no reason but I would estimate 3/4 weeks per month it does on average.

$1-5 Stud goes from 7am Saturday until late in the evening, 12-2am usually.

$5-10 HOSE goes Fridays starting at around 5pm. Same as Omaha, can not go for two weeks but then every Friday for 3 months.

We are on Poker Atlas. You will see announcements there but there is also a new FB page that I am running with structures, results and info about promotions and new tournaments. Fastest in terms of info and response time.

Saturday day is 12pm $35 NLHE with two addons of $10 and $20 available that usually gets about 30-40 players. Saturday night is 7pm $125 which gets 40ish players pretty consistently now.

Sunday we changed to a 3pm $100 with $10 add on available NLHE. Nice structure, 10k chips if add on taken. Starts Sunday 10/7.

Rake: $1-2 NLHE $50 -$300 Max, $1 Promo, $5 max rake per hand
$2-5 NLHE $200 - $1000 Max, $1 Promo, $5 time per half hour
$1-5 Stud $25 min buy, $1 Promo, $5 max rake per hand
$1-2 PLO, $5 bring in, $100 - $500 buy in, $4 rake per hand

A lot of work going into the room itself, promos, tournaments and redeveloping the cash games. Food service, wi-fi, good dealers. Other improvements coming as well as bigger tournaments Thanksgiving and beyond.
