Getting all these Chinese nationals are pissed at me because I am LAG, getting reraised all-in with complete air. They tend to be calling stations, and slowplay with a big or medium strength hand. Preflop check/call with queens or kings, wait for other people to bet into them.

Reraise complete air vs calling stations?

Villian is calling station, with no agression, calls preflop with pocket queens few hands earlier, i got TPTK on flop, call until river.
Hero heads up small blind vs EP
Hero bet 120 preflop
Villian calls

Flop 3 4 J
Hero check
Villian bet 230
Hero raise 600
Turn
8
Hero bet 300
Villian calls
River 2
Hero bet 400
Villian reraise all-in
Stands up

about 1700 more, i am chip leader with about 4500 before the hand started.

????

Another hand

I just sat on the table, stack is about 3000, few hands earlier, limp reraised with pocket 6, got called, bet on flop, villian folded. the reason i did it is because the villian bet 3rd straight time preflop already.

this time against villian to my right, villian limps, i bet 120, villian reraise to 400, i reraise 1000, villian calls.

flop a k x

villian all-in

hero???? with AJo, all my chips.
i call.
villian shows pocket queens.

I'm sorry ovaltine88, couldnt read your post correctly. If I'm not mistaken, you kinda seem like the fish in the game.

In hand 1, you're a chip leader? Are you playing a tournament?
Next, are you the one that limped re-raised with 66 or your opponent?

Anyway, not too worry, I'm also a donk at poker but plan to go to Macau again next month and donate. Last time I went, HKPH actually had better games than Macau.

I hope I can still find the places. Love travelling to Asia

When does 25/50 at HKPH run? Apologies for non-Macau, Hong Kong is close by.

The 100k Guarantee usually gets 42 players +/-2 players.

November tournaments should be up any day now on the online PokerStars client.

I was there few months ago, the game pretty much ran nightly. I'd say more than half the table were competent grinders. The game is good when they're some drunks that swing by. On some nights I prefer the 10/20 game. Will be there in a few weeks, I hope nothing much has changed. Heard they changed the membership policy, I'll find out when I get there I guess.

Any fixed limit holdem in Macau?

Or any other pokergame outside nl he?

thx

No fixed limit or any other poker type games in Macau currently...only NL Hold'em

All new games require approval from the gaming board (i.e, Stanley HO)...and too many variations of poker type games is less on their agenda than newer variation of baccarat games (which they now have)...

Just got back. Sorry to say will miss the tournaments. Played in Macau the past week and all nights were good for me. In spite of being card dead for hours, I still overcame it and showed a profit for every evening. Lots of regular player’s night in and night out at the GL.

The Swedish team is on a roll and taking on all comers even Jeff Lisandro at the Wynn. When Jeff gets involved in a hand, one of the Swedes will put on his rays and its “game on” Rumor has it each member of the Swede team is taking down bricks of Hong Kong dollars a month. They certainly have a large bankroll and are VERY confident.

Yes you will see some fish but they are not at every table. The Asians that play every night are MUCH more competent then last year. I in fact had equal success against Caucasians two day tourist as well as some other Asian players.

One thing I saw on most tables, I was at the GL...on the pre-flop 6 x to 10+ x big blind bets was common. Then on the flop, it was pot size + bets to get out the draws. Blocking bets or probe bets simply don't exist on the flop in Macau.

The fish:competent player ratio is much higher at those stakes.

Hey all I just started working in Zhuhai and since it's so close was wondering what days/nights are the best to make a quick day trip to play cards. I would assume the weekends are best, but what about Sunday's since I don't need to work on Mondays?

Also does the Lisboa sports book show NFL or College Football games? Do they take bets for them?

Thanks

Games on Sunday afternoon and into the evening are usually pretty good. As far as I know you can't bet American Football at GL. If someone knows otherwise please let me know!

Was just there and no one other than a Macau bookie can book any NFL games that I know of. Also, games at the GL were ok and play has calmed doen considerably since I was there last. Players have improved I must say but I still won 6-7 sessions.

Played the 1.5k event and busted out early though.
