Do you speak Mandarin? If not HK is your only real option.

When I was there last time (sept) they had 25/50. I didn't say it runs often though

It was a pretty tight game actually, mainly solid players. There were maybe 2 weak spots, but they didn't play very long. It went from about 8pm to 4am. I asked a few regs how often it runs and was told maybe 3x per week. Would like to get it going all weekend. A few of us tried to get a mandatory straddle going but a couple players wanted to keep it 25/50. Was a good group, friendly crowd.

What is the min buyin? I guess max buyin is unlimited right?

25-50 PLO doesnt sound like very much EV. First of all most of the fish consist of winning NL players learning PLO so they err on the side of caution. Also in live PLO so few hands/hour are dealt that it's hard to even figure out what your EV is.

I don't mind playing small PLO online such as 2-4 but I need six tables to entertain myself.

Yes, the info peterk gave is accurate. Wynn and Starworld run those limits often.

To answer the 25/50 PLO question, max buyin is 15k for that limit

I'll be going to Macau in a week, and staying for a month to play poker. anybody around during July who would want to meet up?

also looking to sublet or rent an apartment for a month since it seems cheaper than a hotel. I've been told that it'd be easier to find places if I start looking when I get to Macau, but if anybody has any places for rent, or any recommendations on where to go to find places now it'd be greatly appreciated as well

100-200 runs every day, usually with multiple tables. The 300-600 has been running every day for the last three weeks. Before that, it was 2-3 times per week.

If it's not accurate I wouldn't reply now, would I?
Furthermore if you would have read through the last 10 pages of this thread I'm quite sure it is mentioned already....

Kinda hard to find a place for a month.... They hardly rent out under 3 months.
You are probably best off, booking a hotelroom for 'special month' deal. Metropark Macau normally has a good monthly deal.

hi all

i went to macau nearly 3yrs ago, before the poker boom really took off over there, the only place that had poker was the grand lisboa and there were only like 3/4 games of 10/20hkd...

obv now everything has changed and there are games spread everywhere... i was wondering if anyone could tell me how good the standard of play is like at the midstakes such as 25/50, 50/100 and 100/200 as i am looking to go back after the wsop...

thanks
