I'm guessing theres still no Omaha or mixed games HAHA
Weekends considerably worse for waiting lists. At 10pm can expect something around 50+ waiting lists for 50/100 and about 20+ for 100/200. Some of the people not gonna be hanging around to wait that long so many dead names on the list. Last Friday I was waiting for seat for 5hrs for example.

There's an Omaha 100/200 table running 3-4 times a week in Wynn.

100/200 5% capped at 250?

The rest don't play often, so don't remember.
how is the 50/100 at the venetian even beatable. wynn's rake sounds a lot more reasonable.
do they rake pf? what is the pot min for it to be raked?

Legend! Thanks for the update - and thanks for all the updating you've given in the past to people on this thread

I guess I'll put my name on the list at like 8 o'clock on the Saturday night and go grab dinner, hopefully by 10/11pm Im up there on the waiting list.

Might be the wrong thread for it but does anyone have any good restaurant recommendations in Macau?
Will only be there for a few days on the way to the Philippines for the asian poker tour so wanna make the most of it

Not much of a gourmet person really, tried about everything Macau has to offer over the years. Almost all places offer good high quality cuisine. Only thing I'm missing is the Indian restaurant over at Galaxy with some really great curries etc and you could also smoke hookah inside. Would suggest trying some local portuguese places, mainly in Taipa area. The most notable one was always https://en.tripadvisor.com.hk/Restau...ant-Macau.html but recently heard that it's not the same anymore. Anyway, probably worth trying since it's a completely different part of Macau tourists don't usually go to and can chill near the beach to get a a piece of mind before the grind.

p.s not a fan of Asian food so no suggestions. remember taking my then to be wife for to a chinese restaurant in MGM, ordered hainan chicken for 130 usd or so which is pretty much same as the 5$ i can eat in HK.

I've been gone for a few years now, but Antica Trattoria is only a 3 minute walk from Wynn and I always liked it for an "upscale" casual dining spot.

Il Tietro at Wynn is fabulous. I recommend the meatball/ricotta pizza as a app and the ambiance is spectacular.

I have just got back from Macau (was there weekend of 2nd March 2019). Was looking for a 25/50 game but could not find one. Only saw 50/100 at Venetian and Wynn as mentioned above by Nordling89

For those asking about restaurants we were recommended to go to Ferando's which is a traditional Portuguese / Macanese place in a quieter part of the island (about twenty mins taxi from strip). This place was awesome

Also, went to Brasserie in the Parisian which was a very good French bistro with decent steak and wine.

Overall though I though Macau was boring af with no atmosphere or fun so would not recommend going through choice unless you are very serious about your gambling. Better poker destinations in Asia as discussed already on this thread.

Breaking news lmao..

Seems like Stars will be coming to Macau potentially these year. Main question is to where and what limits they will introduce for cash games.

What's the max buy in for 50/100 at Wynn Macau? Is it uncapped?

Hi again! In Sands nl 25/50 is still there, appreciated. In the Venetian is not my limit yet and the queues at the tables and the truth is great.

Just returned from a trip in Macau. In summary, 50/100 runs at both Venetian and Wynn. My verdict, go to Venetian if you want to play 100/200 as they have more than 3 tables running at this stake (Wynn only has 1 table running and it starts at about 3ppm). Otherwise, stick to Wynn for the better atmosphere, service and lower rake. While I was there at Wynn, they have a 1000/2000 table running as well.

Waiting list is crazy. Make sure you register your name before 11am and you should get a seat at around 2pm. That's when the dealers report for work and they start to open new tables.

Lol. Yep sounds like Macau. Im not playing in that raketrap though, basically that is like a 5% uncapped. This kind of rake would be beatable if you had a good table, but with those waitlists....
