Yes, Palm Beach poker room has been closed for some time. Best place for mid-stakes (2/5 and 5/10) would, indeed, be The Vic. However, the place is getting a multi-million pound refurb in June/July, although I believe they will keep part of it open for cash games.

Driven by the GUKPT being on but there is 2/5 and 10/25 NLHE and 25/50 PLO running right now on a Monday night at the Vic.

There has been for quite some time a weird combo of 25/50 or even 50/100 etc PLO (4 card, not the 10/25/50 etc 6 card) for quite some time running around 1 guy I think (who’s richer than the whole room put together many times over, he’s worth high 9 figures lol), so don’t think its gukpt related. Granted I haven’t been down in a while but I know the large plo 4 card games have been running sporadically for some months.

2/5, 5/10 and 10/25 nl runs all the time if there’s multiple tables of 2/5+ then that’s festival related I think.

Pretty sure answer is no but just confirming: There is no low/medium stakes mix that runs in London at all, right?

If you can stretch to the Ryanair definition of London there is a regular DC cash game at Grosvenor Luton. Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun. £1/£2. Paddle has Omaha hi and Hilo 4,5 or 6 card, Courcheval hi and hilo 4,5 or 6 card, Superstud, Stud Hi, Irish, Super lowball, lowball. All played pot limit.

If any of you autists are interested in playing a friendly low stakes fixed limit 4/8 HORSE+Triple Draw then DM me. We organised a game way back in 2016 with a few 'regulars' from this thread and a couple of other degenerates, was great fun. This one will most likely be hosted at the Horseshoe, its comfy and I know some of the management. Rake TBD but probably the same as hiring a private table from them. Might even be able to negotiate just straight rake from them which should be cheaper given small size. For those not familiar but interested, antes for stud games 50p, blinds for TD and flop games 2/4 - but 4/8 stakes - so 8 quid bets on turn & river. 5 bet cap per street, the same as Vegas limit rules. A decent size loss in this game would be around 50-60 bets, so £400-480.

I'd prefer a red chip game, perhaps 10/20 limit to have some decent size in the action, and happy to play up to 15/30 or 20/40, but I think no chance anything higher than a £1 chip game will run, so looking for some heads to start something with for funzies stakes in a casino environment. I live in SW London so the schlep up to Luton for DC / Mix just isn't for me.
