The Vic are using NHL as their label for NL games which has broken your parser. Don't know if it's a one off or intentional change.

Aspers also going off-piste and stuffing your code:

1 x £1/£2/£5 (deepstack)
3 x £1/£2

Shows as just 1 £1/£2 table

Hi,

Is there anywhere that runs a regular 2/5 game in London? Or is it just hit and miss like at The Vic?

Thanks

I periodically take a look at the twitter feeds of the London casino's 2/3 times a week, and hippo's feed regularly has £2/5 games listed as running.

Anyone played the Empire tournaments?

Got a couple of hours to kill in Soho on Thursday afternoon between noon and 4pm. Am I likely to find cash games at both the Empire and Hippo? Which tends to be better these days?

Hippo has had more tables than empire lately, but they're not allowing transfers at the moment while empire is, so if you get a bad table at hippo then have a wander next door imo

That's very useful, thanks!

So ... I had not visited this page for like ever, finally played a couple of (post covid) live sessions (at the Empire) had a great time, friendly players and dealers for the most part, relaxed atmosphere, I may go back this Friday and/or Sunday.

A bit worried about London Casinos imposing a vax-pass since I am unvaccinated, unmasked and wild -

No vax pass needed from what I've heard.

First time back since Autumn last year. A few new things I noticed...

1. Hippodrome told me I needed to take in photo ID for next time and as I was told this they said all the other casinos were doing this and I would "get suspended" if I didn't. A bit harsh bit it is what it is.

2. Claimed the rest of my balance in "play chips" and got £15 and proceeded to play my usual £5 bets on blackjack but was told ALL tables are a minimum of £15!! Tried a £5 bet on red @ blackjack but that was a minimum of £50 - on ALL tables. Had to do the £15 in one go and of course... lost.

3. Hippodrome poker was the same as always.

4. Lost £40 at a poor table so tried The Empire. Contrary to what Hippodrome told me I was not asked that I needed to produce photo ID for next time. Just jumped straight in as per.

5. The 56 suited promotion has been nerfed! Only one card can be used at the table at a time. If you win with 56 suited, the card is simply retrieved from the current player and it is passed over to you... until the next player wins it off you.

6. The Empire are doing the cash race... so casual players can have fun contributing extra rake for the regulars' end-of-month tourney.

Did not fancy taking a trip to The Vic so not sure what's in place there.

P.S. Vax-pass is NOT required at either venue. (But it may be wise to take photo ID - regardless of age - just in case.)

Hey guys,

Any word on Aspers and/or the Vic reintroducing 1/1 ? Nothing on the Aspers twitter or the Grosvenor poker live app yet.

Cheers!

The Vic replied on Twitter to someone asking this and they said 1/1 was NOT coming back.

Played at the Vic last night for the first time in 18 months, no plexiglass and the place was mobbed. Maybe 5-10% were wearing masks.

It looks like all games are now raked rather than session fees for the bigger games. Don't know if the cap is different for those.

That is awful.

And this is complete AIDS.

Are Hippo/Empire back to fully 24/7 now? Or is it still just at weekends?

It is the GUKPT at the moment so the Vic is going to be crazy. As the restrictions changed on Monday I would say the same at the Hippodrome, 5-10% in masks and no plexiglass.

It didn't take me long once I started playing most days to find out about games from 5/10 up to 100/200. I can't comment on the majority but the ones I've played in have been run very well.

Does anyone know if the transfer restriction has been removed after "Freedom day"?

On the other hand, do ppl still wearing masks on the table?

txs

I think there are one or two transfers allowed per day at the Hippo now. I would say 1/8 people per table are wearing masks.

This one is still a problem, they seem to have settled on

1 x £1/£2/£5 as their main format for the deepstack game.
