Vic seems to get a few tables above 1/2 going

Hi all -

Will be visiting Bristol later this year - does anyone know what the cash games are like at this location? In terms of stakes, tables running, action, skill level etc.

Only info on their website is as follows:

"CASH POKER

5pm-7am mon-fri, and 3pm-7am Sat &Sun"

Also, any info on Genting Casino? I get the feel they may not run cash games at all but not sure.

there's ussualy 1 table with higher stake plo 2-5 or 5-10 at aspers casino, however people seem to not like the casino itself, ive been there quite a few times and enjoyed myself.

what is my best bet for 1-2 1-3 or 2-5 plo?

I'd say the Vic. Usually 1 table, if not more, of 1/2 and 2/5 every evening.

So what about this triple flop Omaha game they play in the empire? Anyone here play it? How the hell do you adjust - is the skill differential higher of lower?

Whats the avg hourly for decent reg in those 1/2 games ?

I do 8-12.

Some of those dealers at The Hippo really need to take some sort of training in customer relations. I'm ok with fast and efficient with the odd smile but - I mean come on - we're talking zero charisma, no personality and no people-skills whatsoever. Would it kill to do "friendly and nice" once in a while?

Just sayin'.

Another reason why I like pissing around at the 1/1 at the G Casino LSQ, the dealers are great banter. Makes for a much nicer, friendlier atmosphere. More enjoyable way to punt hundos while smashed

I used to play in G for years. Fun place and good easy money.

I've played it tons, maybe more than anyone. Now I play it less and less.. Mostly because one terrible Turkish reg tilts everyone that plays and seems to slow roll every single hand and get away with it. Theres only so many times you can take someone tanking for 5 minutes on the river then announcing 'you win' after calling then seeing he has whats basically the nuts / a hand he would never ever fold so literally JUST time wasting.

People complain about how slow the game is.. and they are right. But it always tilts me when people slate the game because 99% of the time its the biggest nits that pretend if the game was faster they would play it. They still play bad 1/2 holdem games when insane PLO value presents itself.

If the games good its very very very good. If the games bad its a complete waste of time.. These days waste of time > good.

Any limit holdem or omaha hi/lo games in the area?
