played tourneys at empire yesterday and both empire and international today+cash at the vic both nights. Really friendly people. Don't be afraid to play at weekdays though, people are horrible. 1/1 at the vic just hours ago with really drunk people and players asking what hand they had after showdown. *shows hand* 'what did he have' 'pair of aces' 'oh, what do I have?' 'two pair, aces and eights'.

Not correct, Irish and Crazy Pineapple are different games.

In Irish you are dealy 4 cards preflop and discard 2 post flop.

Crazy Irish is played Hi-Lo

In Brighton Irish is played with 3 cards

something like 10 to 2 every night except friday.

Irish is played with 3 cards almost everywhere. If it's played with 4 cards it's known (shockingly enough) as 4 card Irish.

how soft are the games in comparison to vegas/la (both cash and tourneys)


which stakes do the casinos offer (only saw a lot of 1/1 1/2 posts here, but didn't read everything)

games are soft but nowhere near as soft as Vegas/LA. There's not enough foot traffic through poker rooms as in Vegas and nowhere near as many gambling tourists.

1-1 & 1-2 are standard, 2-5 plus run in rooms like the Vic but rarely in others. the increase in games around EPT/WSOPE time doesn't have the levels of fishiness barring rich folk & tournie donks.

oh and as a comparison, the rake is ludicrous.

tournament wise, really fishy low - mid stakes. 300-500+ still fishy but not sure about EPT/WSOP side events. would imagine somewhat tougher.

Im going to be in London 2 weeks on thursday and just wanted to know normally what time a £1-£1 or £1-£2 game at the vic would start during the day, and what time them games will run till in the morning?

During the week they typically start around 2pm and finish at about 6am the next morning, with a variance of a few hours to both these times depending on how many regulars and degenerates are involved

Friday to Monday the games never stop.

I'll be traveling to London soon and was wondering if there are any good Donkaments that run on Tues nights?

Hey, I'm looking for regular 2/5 games. I currently go to the empire a reasonable amount and push for a 2/5 game to run but would rather go somewhere where it's always (or reliably at certain times) running.

Does anyone regularly go to the palm beach casino, how often do the 5/5 games there run, are they at all soft, what times is it open?

The Vic- 2/5 games? Run regularly? Hours?
