There's a lot of private games - but I wouldn't know where they all are.

Unfortunately, they'll all be invite only. If you're rolled for £100-£200, then I would suggest you're probably asking the wrong social circles. Go where rich people go and ask them!

Don't think this is necessarily true, any game run by pros isn't going to want more winning players to enter unless they are bringing in extra whales, and any game run by businessmen isn't going to want a strong winning player /pro to enter ( unless you have a different source of income than poker I.E aren't considered a "pro")

Good afternoon everyone. I recently moved to England (small town called Mildenhall) and have been wanting to start playing poker around here. I typically play 2/5 or 5/10 (dollars though, so probably dropping in stakes for the conversion rate) and would like to find a good place to play. Im not opposed to driving, but would prefer somewhere nearby. Any advice would be great.

Also, anyone planning on going to EPT London in October??

Well you're about equidistant between Dusk Till Dawn and the London casinos (about a two hour drive from both) so you can probably get a decent fix.

If you play tournaments (and assuming it's similar to how it used to be), it could be worth going to DTD for the monthly tournaments as there were often decent cash games there too.

Hi,

Coming down to London for the NFL game at Wembley on Sunday and wondered if anyone had any recommendations of decent places for cheap (£20-£50 buy in) MTTs?

In the past I've gone to the Vic & played their Saturday afternoon MTT buy apparently there's a two dayer this weekend and I won't be around Sunday, so decent suggestions?

Two things:

It seems if you (me) visit the vic only once or twice a year, you run good in finding the best games and run extremely hot.

Also: wow, when Chufty tilts, he really ***** goes for it.

i hear Aspers lost their alcohol license. they will be in huge trouble if that is true and i feel bad for bar stuff and waitresses if that is the case because they might lose their job
