Am playing day 1c of Genting poker series today at the fox. Really looking forward to it, 25k starting and 1 hour clock - great structure! Gl to any other 2+2ers playing it - think there's gonna be heaps up top with the amount of runners it's got

Yeah, that is pretty damn useful, I'm always debating whether I should go or not, (if there are games going) so this is great for me!.

Anyone got any advice about Aspers, in Westfield, I couldn't find what cash games they have going, and how often the lower stakes tables run. Whats are people opinions on the staff, atmosphere, and place as a whole?

I'll be at the Vic all day Tuesday so Ill probably check out Aspers on the weekend depending on the advice I get here. It's a little easier to get to Westfield for me than The Vic, seeing as I don't drive.

some great action at the vic recently. so glad i made some regular visits recently.

1/1 to 5/10 running regularly, got to love the 5/10 game!

there 1/2 for the record is extremely juicey, and i have made some great stacks due to the local wanabe grinders paying me off!

plus there £100 charity event got 170 runners, what a great buzzing card room last nite! love it!

What's the 1/2 PLO game at The Vic like?

Comparable to what limit online? Is it loose-passive? Aggressive? Full of nitty old regs?

hard to compare to an online limit, since i never played fullringplo online...

there are on average three old shortstack nits and three loose passive fish on the table.

on a side note, i know thats a long shot but w/e:

does anyone know a place that shows Bundesliga around here? or more specific: the BVB against Bayern match on Wednesday?

a few decent agro players... the other nite, there was 2 games, but that was soon down to 1 table.

well worth a look, but 9 handed is lame imo

Intrepid thread-warriors. Could any Fox regulars update me on how often the 2/5 runs? Did the weekly game take off? How often do the lower games run? I don't mind mucking about lower for an hour waiting for the other game.

I haven't been in ages as I don't see the point, but I like the venue and would like to make use of it if it's worthwhile.

Cool to hear London has a legitimate new venue in Aspers. Can people tell me a little about the £1/£1 game please?

Min/Max buy-in?
Straddles allowed?
Rake? (£5.50 table charge, right?)
How many games are going typically?
