Our goal is to have things mainly be the same but figure out ways to operate better in each market.

We have a kitchen running currently and people enjoy the food.

Slight difference in stakes.

Slightly smaller tournaments.

Going to be figuring everything out n the near future so lots is subject to change.

Plan on checking out the room for a few days, is the area pretty safe?
I see a few hotels are not a far walk but not sure if it’s the best idea to carry cash around that area and better to Uber?

Also recommendations on hotels?

Thanks

I actually grew up in the neighborhood (go Cougars!). Haven't been back in 20 years, but it's all sleepy suburbs, offices, and strip malls in that part of town.

The hotels are all I presume perfectly cromulent... some are newer than I recall, but the Westin has been there for 40 years, and was considered quite classy back in the day. USAA's campus is in that part of the world, so lots of businesspeople pass though the area.

Hope that helps.

Hey everyone few different updates.

We now have a bad beat going, and also high hand happy hours.

We added these but will not be taking a promo drop to cover them.

We also have our last day of mega monster flights. Looking like probably about a 1.5m prize pool on a $400 buyin.

The room has been picking up in a major way and we have had $1/$2 cap and $1/$2 match running.

Happy with the transition so far but please continue to leave feedback on your experience so we can improve .

Played there yesterday, overall was a good time.

People at the tables seem to be very hit or miss about the buy in range, think it was a good choice to keep both options even if some people hate it.

Only issue I had was the worker at the front desk not knowing about the 5-10am free time, I asked her about it and she told me no they don’t have this promo but when I sat in the game I got free time.

I had an amazing experience playing cash game at the lodge last week. The free buffet is a great idea.

The staff is so kind and the atmosphere at the table is so much friendlier than the tables I'm used to play in Europe.

I'm planning to come back next week to play some tournaments, looking forward to seeing you.

Yesterday at the table we had a debate regarding your body fat challenge.

February 10th 2023 was a due date or a fixed date ?

Let's say for example you would have reached 13% BF in december 2022, could you have hit & quit and win the challenge or should you hit and maintain below 14% up to February 10th 2023 in order to win the bet ?

everybody was confused and arguing it was so funny :'D
