I have found the staff at L'Auberge to be unsympathetic and unwilling to remedy problems. I asked for a table change to get away from a punk that was trying to verbally intimidate me. I was told by the floor that the open seat at the other no limit hold'em could not be given to me because the table I was leaving would only have 6 players and the tables would not be balanced.
Guess what, when I left, they still only had 6 players. I was told the same punk that ticked me off had done the same thing to the player who just left the table.
I have played at 8 different casinos. I rarely go to L'Auberge in Baton Rouge because of previous problems that just left me frustrated and the staff did not care in the least.
I recommend if you are from out of town and want to check out a new poker room, go to Beau Rivage in Biloxi; Harrah's in New Orleans, but keep on driving past L'Auberge in Baton Rouge.
I have played at almost twice that number of rooms just this year including LBBR. Three cheers to the floor for correctly enforcing the rules. I realize you believe you deserve to have the rules bent for you (as u already posted.) But the reality is just not so. Your only possible complaint maybe is the floor did not address what that punk did to you. Then again maybe he is the one with a legit complaint since you did not bother to post any of those details.
But the fact you posted they should bend the rules for you says much more than you probably realize.
